Sonic Jihad is a corp that focuses on providing uncomplicated but skillfull pvp experience:
- log in
- get into whatever fleet there is
- undock
- shoot sh!t

Without getting their arms twisted, people in Sonic Jihad do this. We don't complicate things too much and we eliminate circumstances that might keep us docked up endlessly debating them on comms really fast. If 'real life' is not sorted, EVE is not fun. So, real life always comes first with us.

Our motivation is pretty much captured in this picture. And this video here (if you're a slacker that is watching this at work, beware of the music).

The core group is a nerd-active collection of people that make the corp alive and vivid throughout the day and who are willing and, more importantly, able to help people improve their skills (i.e. actual skills, not your ingame training skills). A mature, loyal bunch that love a good laugh, don't take themselves too seriously but go into full hardcore mode whenever the situation asks for it.

We actively look for PVP wherever we can find it:
- roaming
- camping
- wormholes
- sov warfare

If all these are not found being created by others, we create it ourselves by trading war stories and doing fictional manipulation. Basically, we are good at EVE because we are active in it. You can only suck at EVE by not doing stuff. We take risks because that's what EVE Online is all about.

We are a member of Northern Coalition. This means, while the corp tries to approach a laid back environment, we do maintain an environment that is at the same time probably not for everybody. Holding your hands will be done now and then to improve you, but self sufficiency eventually is the key to becoming a man amongst boys/a woman amongst girls. We maintain this, in order to pursue a high standard gameplay quality without becoming toxic towards people.

We operate primarily in the EU timezone, although our US timezone also has a usefull presence.

What kind of mentality we are looking for:
- mature people that can trade good war stories (both from ingame and from real life; no jarheads though please)
- a thick skin helps (but we can help you develop that even)
- people that want to become better at this game in general
- people that want to become better at nullsec politics
- people that want to do both solo pvp as well as small gang and large fleet warfare
- people that might want to learn how to FC (though not a requirement)
- people that give a shizzle about what they are doing ingame (totally a requirement)

What is needed skillwise
- be able to fly Strategic Cruisers
- be able to fly most common T2 doctrines
- be able or at least be prepared to get a Dread alt (buy it or train it, we don't give a sh!t)
- actively pursuing to fly a super (i.e. training/buying a toon, preparing ISK for the ship/mods)
- being able to avoid getting Rodney King'd in high sec (i.e. have an alt for your high sec/PVE/carebear business cause not everyone has an accidental camera)
