Can an individual use tripwire or does it have to be a corporation that signs up for it?

Individuals are the main focus so yes! Even NPC corp characters can use Tripwire. Corp support is there but I am still working on alot of those features.

How do I get my ingame browser and out of game browser to sync up. My ingame browser (IGM) is tracking me perfect. Out of game browser still has me in Jita. I have add viewing systems to chain (IGB), I have, "follow my in-game system," checked (IGB). What am I missing?

All that is needed is to be logged into the same Tripwire account at the same time in both browsers - the link should be automatic.

Digital Ocean, the host I use for Tripwire servers, will be doing emergency network switch firmware upgrades Friday. Tripwire should only be down for very short periods of time during these windows (10min or less).

Friday 8/28 @ 02:00 EVE time (until 06:00)
Friday 8/28 @ 14:00 EVE time (until 18:00)

NOTE THESE ARE WINDOW TIMES - Tripwire will only be down for at most 10 minutes during these windows. I will try to be available during these windows but please prepare accordingly.

Is Tripwire down or am I doing something different?

Logged in yesterday and today and found that the window that shows the wh chain is no longer showing them chains?

Fihn

* Edit
I've reset my tripwire settings and everything is back to normal again. I'm not sure what I did in the first place, but it's all back to normal again.

Fihn

For those of you who have ordered a t-shirt - I will be ordering them this week and then send them all out. I will give you an update once I do that.

Thanks to those of you who donated - even though the goal was not met I will do my best to continue my work on Tripwire.

Also I am still searching for a job

Thank you for the fantastic tool. This saved me many hours of writing things down.

Noob question: Say I'm in a wormhole with 3 different K162 wormhole signatures. I warp to each signature, select show info, and find that one leads to high sec, and the other two lead to unknown parts of space. If i add all three signatures in tripwire as K162, I can't find a way to indicate which K162 signature leads to highsec. Is there a way to specify under "Leads to" in tripwire "Highsec - Unknown" or "Another Wormhole - Unknown"?

Enter the leads to system as "High-Sec"

Sorry for the forced re-logins just now... critical server updates. All done now and you shouldn't need to worry about logging in again.

Thanks for your understanding and fly safe o7

Perfect! Thank you. I got High-Sec, Low-Sec, and Null-Sec, is there a phrase for another unknown wormhole?

Tripwire t-shirts arrived today and look awesome! I will be packaging and mailing them all by Thursday! You should all get them in time for EVE Vegas if any of you are going... and if you are I will see you there!

Hey there....

Recently moved over to tripwire from SIGGY and im in ove with the simplicity of its use. all my corpies just found the elixer of life by the looks of it.

Arrow VERY BIG +1 Bear

Question tho, i know it may have been asked i one of the previous pages but thats a metric f ton of reading to do so:

Does it support alliance level acces... or is this a case of everyone in alliance sharing there maps between each corp?

again sorry if its already been asked...

Thank you!

Here is a quick guide to setting up alliances with Tripwire: http://forums.eve-apps.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=30

The forums are getting sunset in favor of a wiki... but time is hard to come by these days.

I will be performing Tripwire server maintenance tonight - hopefully those of you having server sync issues will see less of the issue going forward.. otherwise I will continue to work out the cause.

Thanks a lot. Do you have an idea of the cause? My experience (running on OSX MBP laptop, works flawlessly in one location [using Time Warner cable] but completely falls apart on another [using google fiber]) makes me think it is a subtle problem.

Let me know if there is any more information I can provide to assist in the debugging process. Tripwire is a great tool!

Lets see how things go the rest of the week. There were a few minor server updates plus some way overdue maintenance and reboots. There was a minor glitch with login session storage because of memcache that I fixed tonight too.

Keep in mind Tripwire uses some complex and newer security standards compared to most of the major sites out there - I have been battling to keep things compatible because of it.

I see.

Your updates didn't seem to address the issues I was seeing WRT "error syncing with server", I still have constant problems on one ISP and perfect functionality on another. Since it seems to be based on what ISP i'm using I'm guessing it's an issue with some of the security stuff you've mentioned.

Would it be possible to also serve the site over HTTP in some debug mode? similar to insecure=true. I can't see any of the traffic in wireshark due to it being HTTPS.

Alternatively is there a way to enable logging via console.log? That will output in the games log files I believe.

Let me know if there is a way to provide more information as Tripwire has become a very valuable tool.
