I wasn't sure where to put this so I'll ask here. Does CCP accept pre paid debt or credit cards? If yes, which ones?

Because once I load the card up, I am not getting the money back in its physical form

If it's a Visa or Mastercard prepaid card it should be accepted by anybody that takes Visa or Mastercard as far as I know, but as Ralph says it'd be worth raising a ticket to make sure before you load a card up.

The only problem you might have is with recurring payments which is the default, once your card is out of funds they'll be refused until you top it up. The way round that is to pay whatever period of sub you wish to cover and then cancel the subscription before your sub expires, any remaining game time will still be valid and CCP won't attempt to charge your card when the game time runs out.

So they're good with it if the card company will allow you, I would then inquire with the card company's and see which ones will do overseas payments.

From their official reply, it looks like prepaid cards may have issues, and the only ways to know are to call the card issuer (might not get an answer) or try it.

For what it's worth, if you load up the card with $15 and it doesn't work with EVE, you can still use the card at your local store(s), so the money is not completely lost. The transaction won't complete on the EVE account webpage, so your card won't be debited and the $15 will still be on it, for use locally.

I just realized I can buy a gift card for Amazon. The question is how would I know the vendor is legit, so I don't get accidently doing RMT?
