Dear Team TriLambda,

There aren't many things I look forward to at the end of a long day, but one of those things is poking around looking at all the magic your team creates, trying to figure out how it works and how you did it. Thank you for giving me something to do until the early hours of the morning and giving me something to care about.

I know the team is big, but thanks especially to CCP Mankiller and CCP BasementBen for giving me a chance, CCP Darwin for listening to my inane questions and giving me the confidence to keep at it, Fillip for maintaining and updating CCPWGL, and CCP Rarara and ex CCPer Bracari for creating it.

I can't wait to see what you have planned for the upgraded decals system (the new hull damage system is really awesome!), where you go with SOF Materials (haven't got access to these yet so I made 1000 or so in the interim! :cough: ), and everything else you have coming soon(tm).

Never not be awesome.
Much love from the caldari prime pony club.

I can only echo my fellow pilots sentiment with respect.
I am no artist or technical wizard but the lengths to which Team TriLambda go to engage and support some of the more talented members of our community is awesome.. and unparalleled.
As is the level of artistic quality and skill evident wherever I fly in New Eden.
To my own personal benefit, I rarely zoom out, preferring to appreciate the beauty of the objects around me and the ships I choose to fly (although I'm sure that its to my detriment in PvP but hey, explosions are prettier up close!)

I guess what I'm trying to say is.. Thankyou.

Never not be awesome!

Totally agree! As someone who has been with EvE for 7 years I've seen the progress made not necessarily driven by new technologies, but in a measured way to ensure the game isn't a massive load on GPU's etc.

The last couple of years have been a busy time for the team with all the remodelling, texturing and release of new ships/assets, I too can't thank you guys enough for keeping EvE fresh and looking gorgeous!

Never not be awesome.

In so many ways Eve's art is the entire reason I started playing Eve in the first place. But even more importantly it is the reason I not only keep playing, but keep challenging myself to greater heights. The work that the art team puts in, not only in-game but outside the game as well, is truly inspirational.

You may not be aware of how much your work supports and encourages those of us out here in the community. Your support is critical to projects like T'amber's which in turn is critical to projects that I in turn work on, without T'ambers work my own work would be a thousand-fold more difficult to accomplish. And, I suspect, my own work in turn inspires others to achieve even greater heights. All of which helps us all to elevate and challenge ourselves and each other.

That is, after all, what "community" is all about. Thank you all for your continued brilliance. You are my inspiration.

I wonder if ccp can look at/measure these statistics. ..those of how many players actually CAN EVEN VIEW THEIR OWN HULL/SHIP OR ANYONE ELSES SHIPS

I will bet thay the MAJORITY of eve players play zoomed out and cant see their own hull or anyone elses.
So all these skins and hull damage and dirt and killmarks are kind of a joke and only for ship spinning

WAIT YOU ARE TAKING SHIP SPINNING AWAY WITH CITADELS.
THEN WE WILL NEVER EVER EVER SEE OUR SHIPS.

GG creating all that stuff no one will see in future and the severe unmajority sees currently

Eve is an outrageously good looking game at times.

It always looks good but sometimes it's shocking.

I have rarely read a more cynical and wrong-headed series of statements than these, one wonders why someone who thinks like this would bother logging-in much less writing on a forum post. As for me and those I know, I fly zoomed in to my ship the majority of the time thank you very much.

Team TriLambda can't respond. They have been locked away working on Citadels graphics.

Been around since the beginning.

CCP Darwin.

When the teams look at the 'more camera options' feature for the winter release. It would be nice to include some options so we can see the awesome graphics/ships/space scenes of EvE more clearly. Because Carrie-ann-moss's point is valid... to much of the beauty of EvE is hidden due to red X/icons and multi redundant UI.

Suggestions include.

- Add ability to toggle off elements of the UI.
- Add ability to toggle off targeting brackets/icons.
- remove the white background on the target icons /ship damage UI.
- Add a window with a zoomed view of the ship you are firing at. (would compliment the kill cam which no really uses because no one has time to press 'the look at'

Essentially give us a minimalist UI experience in EvE so we can see the amazing world and ships of new eden. It is possible...

its time for EvE to get rid of the is spreadsheets in space reputation.. I strongly feel it is the spreadsheets that cause most new players to not stick around... it just makes EvE seem insanely complicated and unfun. The depth of EvE is awesome.. the UI that we use to access that depth is not awesome.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'd recommend posting them in the Features & Ideas Discussion forum, because Team TriLambda is not the team that implements the UI and you can get your ideas in front of the UI folks more directly there.

People please, itry to use Blender 3D for a minute and then try to say your UI in EVE is too complex. You cant get complex aplication without complex UI. Amount of information must be alocated somewhere.

If you take away that information, you dont have complex game and complex world, you have simple 3d shooter is space. There are probably other games more suiting for those people preferences.
