Main Launcher says it's offline (Beta Launcher works fine)

Exactly what the title says; as of downtime today, the main launcher doesn't work (just comes up saying it's in offline mode) but the beta launcher works fine.

Obviously not an immediately major problem, but if the Beta launcher gets taken away for any reason I won't be able to play.

Any ideas on how to fix?

Did you try closing it and restarting?

It has a patch to download.

Did the same for me. I restarted it. Didn't help. Ran the launcher installer, watched it patch itself, and logged in fine.

Whew!

Wait, what's this?

Closed the clauncher and a little while later tried to log back in. Same problem again.

Sigh.

Eve is the only game I have ever played that breaks itself over and over. On multiple computers and multiple versions of Windows over the years.

Yeah, it just endlessly restarts saying no connection.
