It took 5 days for my lock to be investigated. It will probably take about a week for you to have anything going on. I suggest you return the ISK and deal with the support then.

It is entirely possible that the lock may not be lifted at all, but this varies on the case. One thing i am certain of is pooring frustration here in the forums will get you nowhere.

lets be honest guys - ccp rarely check petitons these days

ive had some that havent been answered in 3 months , then closed without answer!!!!

the only thing there good at recently is banning / locking and moving threads


its almost like they dont give a **** about us anymore, and i for one am sick of it

I am actually quite sad to witness the responses coming from various Eve Online users here. Everyone seems to have accepted defeat in a case where defeat shouldn't even be possible given the terms. We live in a time where there are laws that force companies to have something called "customer support". Now this is not a game we play for free. Some of us may say well we buy the plex ingame, we kinda play the game for free but you all would realize that it'd not be true for at one point in those character's lives, they were paid with real money for monthly subscription.

That said we are now looking at a case here, where one of the customer wishes to trade his character in exchange for money. Which is quite normal, many people are selling characters. However when he attempts to do this, he is met with a message that is not quite explanatory in itself. It goes along the lines of "Character transfer is locked. Please contact customer support." I implore you to check the latter part, it says customer support. Now moving passed the part where they do not inform him why it is locked, we get to the customer support. Normally EVERY company that does business HAS a customer support that is reachable via phone.

On the case of Eve Online, they do NOT have a customer support phone line. Instead they claim that their customer support operates over an e-mail. This alone is unacceptable. E-mail is not a medium within which you can have a direct contact inbetween the customer and the company. Okay what about live chat options for customer support? We all know that there are various companies, including those of game community that employ such methods. It is also not available. E-mail and tickets are the only method to reach the CCP or Eve Online.

OKAY, lets say hell with it I'm gonna ignore the fact that this company doesn't offer me what it is supposed to in terms of customer support methods. We file a ticket on Sunday around 4 pm. I would like to remind you that this ticket is for character transfer. 1 day is an acceptable waiting time. Next day at the same time? Still nothing. Then you may force yourself to say, ah well it was Sunday perhaps the whole 7/24 work hours doesn't apply? Make that 6/24, we wait one more day. It's now Tuesday and we are nearing 4 PM. Still no response. E-mail? It has also been sent aside from the tickets.

So this is not a case of venting off to stem off our frustrations. This is a plea of us wanting our rights as a customer. CCP or Eve Online has no right to leave me in the dark. You may think my friend is the person who is frustrated. Now consider the person who had bought this account. The guy initially thought my friend was cheating him. Lets face it, if I was him I'd have freaked out myself. 24b and I don't get the character right away? That's just unacceptable. CCP needs to reconsider their customer support, this is not productive, this is not healthy.

I couldnt have wrote this better .. and i totally agree ,

CCP,s customer service is Disgusting and needs to wake the hell up

Please be patient if you have already submitted a Support Ticket. It can be frustrating to wait, but I promise they will get to it as soon as they can.

In the mean time, I would suggest returning the ISK until the transfer lock has been resolved.

That is completely understandable and acceptable however I do have a question in regards to that suggestion; With the money sent to me I bought the 2 plex. As you know the Buy Order and Sell Order of those Plex are not the same. As a matter of fact I will be losing money out of this because CCP was unable to respond to me in time? I didn't even receive a single message suggesting that CCP was looking into my case. You are the first person I've ever heard from and you are pretty much singing me a lullaby. That said, on top of the loss I'll get from Plex sales. I also wasn't able to mine/rat with this character for over 48+ hours. So please tell me, why am I suffering from a situation where I have no fault in?




any way i send isk back and wait more and moreeeeeeee

Add the buy/sell spread information/details to your Support Ticket. CCP are not unreasonable people. The least you can do is ask for some sort of refund. I'm sorry you feel I'm singing you a lullaby, but these things naturally take time to review.

it is a shame , eve USED to be have great customer service , these past few years have seen some really bad changes and some really bad decisions regarding to the Current clients

Were not just players, / , payingcustomers

Were also people and as such we should be treated as such .... ive got no problem on a personal level with anyone from CCP im just stating what ive noticed recently , after playing eve for over a decade and longer than most CSM's i cant keep the fact quiet that the game is being broken

Im now asking as a paying customer , please please please sort out the ticket system its a complete mess
