Just wanted to say thanks for giving new players the 400k SP. It didn't sound like much at first, but it really does make a big difference at lease compared to what I remember trying the game out a couple years ago. And the skills that you've chosen I think are spot on for what we need to get a decent start in a frigate. Thanks again!

good to see something more positive than the usual rant, good luck and welcome to eve Pirate

Domination Nephilim - Angel Cartel

Calm down miner. As you pointed out, people think they can get away with stuff they would not in rl... Like for example illegal mining... - Ima Wreckyou*

It's actually one of the more sensible changes CCP have implemented for the sake of the newbies. They can actually fly that tackle frigate the second they roll their character.

Hard to assess from a veteran standpoint, to be honest. I started out with about 300k SP due to the skill packages that came with the school selection back in 2008, so I suppose it wasn' much different. When I roll up a new character these days, I just remap the attributes in a sensible way, slap +3 implants on and those basic skilsl are done in no time.

In any case, I have absolutely no problem when rookies can stardout flying something useful from day one. So, good on you, now go and die horrible deaths in pvp.

I agree. Nobody needs to know the pains for starting off and spending the first 6 months training implants and learning skills.....I'm all for giving our new players a helping boost.

It's been nearly impossible to get a lot of friends to play this game because one of the first things they say is. "Wait, I have to wait HOW long to do anything?!".
