Carrier steal

Will Guristas produce their own version soon? All their hulls were stolen and remodeled.

CCP did say that new dynamics were coming to all AI, but the drifter incursion release shows that it was broken. Maybe that is on track again and northern areas will get gurista incursions?

To quote Lfod Shi

The ratting itself is PvE. Getting away with it is PvP.

I would've thought that it's just a little titbit on why you end up facing a Wyvern for the new burner mission (Gurista's Base). But, if you want to start constructing a hype train, go right ahead, don't let me stop you.

All Guristas ships now have super-drone technology.

Therefore the new Guristas Super Carrier is going to just have enough bandwidth to launch 2 bonused Rattlesnakes that will kick your back side so hard.

This is definitely intriguing news.

As far as memory serves, this is the second Capital ship class of ships stolen by any of the Pirate organizations, the first one being a prototype Gallente Titan stolen by Serpentis.

It makes me wonder if the future of EVE will have all Pirate factions fielding Capital ships, and not just the Sansha's Nation Revenant.

Brought to you by the Guristas in association with Skynet.

NPC's not using drones has always bugged the crap out of me tbh.

NPCs not using Drones is probably why many players in PvE are able to survive. Imagine having to deal with those along with the normal ships. Not only do you have to have appropriate modules to deal with incoming damage from NPC ships, but you also have to be able to deal with the Drones (or just shoot down their controller).

Which brings another alternative as to why Drones are not used by NPC: imagine that, after you clear an anomaly or destroy the ships you are ratting, you not only loot the ships but also scoop up their Drones as well. Not only would those heft a fancy price in big enough bulk, but it also sets you up permanently for your Drone stash.

Yep, highly likely.

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

I know Twisted, and I'm a PvE player myself. CCP have said in the past that they'd like to make PvE more like PvP, both in terms of ships and how they're used, NPC's using drones is far closer to being up against another player than the current situation.

Drones are already in the loot tables, in line with other loot they're generally T1 so it wouldn't make much of a difference to most. I usually reprocess or sell them on, I certainly don't use them.

The players who do use T1 drones are mostly those unable to use or afford T2's, for them it would be a slight buff in income due to reduced costs.

At the very least, expect gurista skins for your super

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

Think of the Battlecruisers rebalance...

Battlecruisers got nerfed, and the Navy/Fleet issues got the old Battlecruiser stats.

I'm placing my money on Capitals getting nerfed and "New" Pirate variants will be the old (current) stats.

Just my thesis...

Don't trust newsmakers especially from Caldari state.

I foresee a new skin appearing in the NEX store (yes I just called it that) sometime in the near future. The excitement I just can't bear!
