Hi

My corp lives in a C4, We get alot of Ore belts spawning, My question to any Indy corps out there is.

Would your corp like to move into our c4 and be set to blue with us for you mine ore and gas sites ? We have no interest in them so we are looking for a mining corp to take them on.

You will need to bring your own Large POS into the C4 with good gun setup and manage ur fuel it might be a good idea for your tower to be a Minmatar tower like ours just in case you run short on fuel u can borrow ours.

Your POS will be under the safe guard by us, As well as all your members we will provide "eyes on" to alot of the ops you do and wormholes and provide escorts to HS when needed.

There is alot of money to be made in our C4 with the ORE and GAS sites we get. Dont dismiss the idea straight away you can still have a High Sec Opertion eg a office in a station as not all members might want to operate in Wormhole space for Industrial needs.

We as a corp dont want any profit from the Gas or Ore Sites all we want is someone to take them on.

You should mention that the main idea of a c4 mining ops is to sit there baiting in speedtanking procurers and hope for a bomber dumb enough to actually attack them. And the kingsize ABC rocks you can mine for hours straight with a dozen procs on top.

If the OP and his corp / alliance / whatever are trustworthy and if you’re willing to learn some w-space survival basics, this sounds like a potentially interesting and exciting proposition. W-space mining, with no other overheads (such as PvP participation like we usually have in non-renter sov-null), can deliver a whole lot of isk. However, when I used to live in w-space (long time ago now) the mining sites were the least lucrative space resource. I only mined them when I had cleared all the combat anoms, sigs, and gas sites. The other major issue you will need to deal with is the logistics of moving high volume stuff from a C4 w-system out to empire space for sale. Even compressed you’ll be producing freighter loads of stuff.
If OP is acting in good faith and if his corp is supportive and helpful, this appears to be an exciting possibility for a small mining-interested group.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

I tried to invite several mining corps to my C2 (HS static) for exactly the same reasons as the OP. They all feared this was a trap and I would try to gank them. So I tried to invite miners to mining operations for which I would have lend the mining ships (zero risk for the miners) : they refused again. The HS static though was a very good advantage in comparison with your deep C4. It seems miners are just not interested.

Imho, mining in WH can be very lucrative for miners (not for Wh-dwellers who should look at gas/salvage/blue) but needs some scheduling. You cannot just log on and throw yourself on a rock like in HS. Best way would be to have the ships ready and to contact miners you know when you have lots of valuable ore sites. Then you schedule a starting time op. You prepare your hole (scout/roll/etc), you escort the miners all at once at the scheduled time. You roll behind them. They go log out in a safe so no intel can be made on them being miners, etc... You probe the next static, warp to and wait for 15 min in case a lost hunter was here and wants to get out or move on. Then only you bring the mining ships out of SMA. Miners log back, you bring links and you are free to multibox-mine for hours as long as you keep an eye on new sigs.

This can be fun if you live in a C1-C4 and want to build a cap out of the ore : the spectacle of your cap being carved out of the rocks... Big smile

All the comments/ideas above are brilliant , like you said its hard to find high sec indy corps who would be interested

We would provide support to HS for them and have eyes on when we can for them etc...

But i will keep looking for a mining corp its not just the Ore its the Gas as well

Trouble is, highsec miners will be... well, highsec miners.
First, they will fail on intel, hauling, timings, tanking, managing refuels, protection AND escaping.
Second, they will stick to their common behavior patterns - mine till danger is close (On too late to run level) and then try to run anyway. Only tackled and one (In a million) brave soul will try to make stand. 8-20 others? They sit somewhere safe, having chat like this. Off course, in local.
"Wow, we got away!"
"Goddamned grievers"
"I think there's a spy among us!"
"Wait, where is Steeve?"
"Hunter got him"

At the meantime, Steeve, actually in fleet chat:
Hey, guys, why the hell you warped away? I just need extra drone or two to fry this ******! Guys! Guys? Guys, quite deep in shield, could use some ******* help.

Other guys, still in local:
"Should we go save him?"
"We can't. It's a trap".
"Yeah. " [In private to random corpie] "And honestly, I think Steeve is actually a spy, trying to peel the suspicion by being a "victim," you know"
"Yeah, probably."

At the meantime, Steeve, actually in fleet chat:
"Guys? I am in… nevermind. Yep. Care to find new HS WH?"
