Minor Idea - Integrate ISIS with Ship Fitting

File this under a minor proposal.

It doesn't seem critical to the game but I can easily see ship fitting more closely integrated with ISIS. ISIS has a lot of potential to consolidate and organize lots of ship-related data and resources. It could list saved fittings. Perhaps each ship could have an additional button that selects a fitting option. Now that I think about it, I suspect other people have maybe made this suggestion already. If so +1 from me.

We already have this.

Open ship fitting, then click browse, and there you go.

I didn't communicate it clear. I'm talking about a level of integration with ISIS where you can limit the amount of windows floating around and just place the data within the ISIS system. In this scenario, the objective would be to quickly click on ships within ISIS and view available fittings directly in ISIS and maybe even engage in ship fitting, within ISIS.

I think the point is ultimately about ease of interaction with saved ship fits. OP doesn't like the arrangement of the text list for fittings or some such. I could get behind a list of personal/corp/alliance fits being shown in ISIS. Might be nice if that system would show expected stats based on your skills as well.

Remove T2 BPO's or make them inventable at extreme cost.

Part of the issue with this OP is that there are no true "standard fits."

For example; a Tristan can be...
- Armor tanked (as is Gallente tradition)
- Shield tanked (to move faster and/or deal more damage)
- Hull tanked (... just cause)
- "snowflake fit"

... and all of them can be viable in one way or another.

Fitting a ship is an artform and a science. What you are asking for is a way to know how to "paint" just by looking at "paintings."

Copy and paste is exactly the function of a saved ship fit.

Your premise is flawd. Even if you get a fitting from somewhere it doesn't help you without the pilot that flies it at the helm.

There reason why I don't give out fit in "Ships and Modules" is that you have to come up with your own. I made a large post on how to approach this exactly there and didn't get much complaints about it.

You and only you fly your ship.

On occasion I am giving out fits to buddies that know exactly what I do, when I do it and know how to fly that fit or we exchange thoughts about it.
But they have been flying with me a lot and most of the things I know I learned from them.

I do adivse you to listen you ShahFluffers because he really does know his stuff and has tons of experience. I can assure you that he is sincere.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!

Exactly this. I try not to give out fits without explaining why and how and what you can tinker with and why you can do those things. Otherwise it is nothing more than a fit with no actual purpose.

I learned this the hard way when I gave out a fit to a newbie and he mailed me back days later complaining about it was "not effective."
The fit I gave him was a "range-tank-PvE-fit" and the newbie had taken it out into Faction Warfare complexes to try against players. He couldn't understand why other players were catching up to him and nuking him in mere seconds.

From a veteran's experienced perspective it was obviously useless for PvP engagements. But from a newbie's perspective, it was effective for what he was doing at the time (lvl 1 and 2 missions), so why not try using it in all things.

Hehe... I don't "know my stuff" so much as "know where I got those bruises from."
