I would suggest the event take place in either mid-to-late June or very early July.

But that's just my opinion.

"I give to you the destiny of Faith,

And you will bring its message to every planet of every star in the heavens:

Go forth, conquer in my Name, and reclaim that which I have given."

As someone looking to possibly present, but in desperate need of more time before I would consider my presentation ready, I say push forward with end of June or early July. I fear if you let it drag out as just a concept or a plan for too long many may lose interest while waiting.

And let me add that if I am not ready as a presenter, I know I will still attend as an audience and look forward for the opportunity to engage in discussion of the exhibits with the others, as we all call each other ignorant, biased, and idiotic over differing opinions. I am willing to wager there are many others who share this position.

We will be setting the date for the 27th and 28th, June. The opening ceremony will be held the 26th, at 18:00, and two sessions for speeches and presentations to be held, the 26th and 27th at 19:00, followed by questions and discussions in a format similar to what was held at SeyCon.

Thank you again for your support.

Very interesting, but it's in fed space again which is sad to say the least. Why no one makes such fairs/conferences on neutral ground like CONCORD or InterBus space I wonder.

Yulai is being considered for later similar expositions, if it fits the theme, and of course if I can find the right partners for it to happen in that place or another.

Please forgive me to be blunt, sir, but the spirit behind that fair is to provide insightful content in a frame that fits, with hosts put to the honours, among others (here, Caille and the Federation) . The fact that some people choose to affiliate themselves in the proxy war or choose to have issues with interstellar law, is of their own volition alone. In short, people make choices and have to deal with their consequences. We are ready to accommodate the most, but barring most of the cluster locations and venues is not a sacrifice we deem acceptable for that purpose.

Perhaps event sponsors not able to attend in person could submit items to be displayed via holo projection?

Regards, Arnulf Ogunkoya.

Yes, either through trusted couriers/proxies or holos would definitely work. For physical proxies or couriers, it would just need to be cleared by the local authorities, so a voucher in good standings with them should do the trick.

Just reminder that the fair will happen in less than one month. For people interested to showcase, please remember that it is the perfect opportunities for anyone to share and bring to the intergalactic spotlight something cultural or artistic that hold values not only to them, but to the cluster at large.

Here are a few standard ideas that would definitely fit the theme :

Quote:
[Culture/Race] Examples include Khanid, Jin-Mei, Sebiestor, etc.

-Expo Categories
* Art (dance/fashion/paintings/music/bands/performers)
* Traditions (foods/tales/lore)
* Architecture (new and old)
* Research (culture/race specific, be it social or science, as long as it's tied to culture... this is not a science fair)
* Modern Culture (popular culture/trends)
* Craftwork (traditionnal for example)

Greetings,

Due to the recent announcement for the CVA 12 years ceremony here, and the Fair supposed to be held in the same end of week, the Fair will be postponed probably up to September.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope this will give more time for exhibitors already signed up, as well as for other potentially interested prospects.

Best regards,
Farel.

That is a shame. I was looking forward to it. But on the other hand the extra time is certainly useful for improving my exhibition.

Greetings,

A small update: confirming that the Fair will take place in mid September. The exact week-end will be announced soon, but you should expect the 12-13th September as a very likely schedule.

For all sponsors interested in attending and presenting something, I would be glad if you could send a confirmation by mail and a very brief summary of what you have in mind so that we can organize ourselves.

Please remember that the Fair will be held in Caille, Luminaire. Please make sure your land accreditations are in order with the authorities.

Thank you.

In keeping with the promotion of the blend of art, culture and innovation I have arranged for my Neutral luxury liner, the Nighting Gale, to be registered as an exhibit as well as serve for those guest who would require more privacy then offices Caille can afford.

As An incentive for registry the yacht will be hosting A biological seminar on Garden cultivation and design in the Botanical Gardens, a traditional Caldari ceremonial Tea, and as always the finest in Caldari fusion cuisine. Courtesy shuttles via Interbus premier class will be offered to all guests in order to attend the various exhibits and seminars hosted by the fair.

If God permits, we would like to present a puppetry from Palas, Ms Farel. For long religious puppet theatres have been an important element of the Palasian carnival. The plays are often hagiographic in nature, yet the scene to be presented in Caille is of special, heresiographic nature: It shows, quite dramatically one has to say, the story of Admiral Faus Akredon who on the eve of the Battle of Vak'Atioth betrayed the Empire and conspired with the Jove. It is a story of betrayal. A story of divided loyalties. A story of a person who was graced with the love of God, but, in the end, found eternal damnation. A moral tale. I think you will like it.

Kind regards

Greetings,

This is a reminder that the Fair is approaching and that many people that have expressed their interest have yet to contact me to confirm their attendance. To that effect I have added a list of the current registered sponsors on the OP.

We are also moving the date from the 12-13th to the 19th and 20th of September due to a conflict of date with lady d'Hanguest Khanid event planned the same day.

The opening will happen the 19th at 19:00 and the evening will be dedicated to it. The Fair itself should happen all the next day long, with presentations from the sponsors happening at 19:00.

Thank you for your interest, and with the hope that many will attend.

I will attempt to attend this event.

I would trust this will not be a disappointment.

((I'm new to these things to say the least, what exactly is this going to be? A channel in EVE or will it be everyone travelling to the system and speaking in local or something else? I'll edit this out of sight when I get an answer.))

Greetings,

Considering time constraints and another event yet again planned at the same time, we are moving the NEF to the next week end, which means the 26th-27th, September, same hour.

We apologize for the disagreement.

On an encouraging note, we managed to come to an agreement with federal authorities regarding potential attendees engaged in the 24th Crusade and the STPRO. They are now allowed to come freely as long as they restrain themselves to no personal weapons (as it is expected from anyone in the Fair establishments), and do not wander freely in the city around.

We graciously thank the concerned parties for their gesture.

Finch and Schmidt’s “Culture of Stitches” ... Fashion, Aakari to Zet

Mr. Charles Cambridge Schmidt and ourself were going to collaborate on a presentation about Clothing + Culture + Color.

  • It would be about the evolution of Capsuleer fashion in New Eden over the years, as well as observations on how Amarr and Gallente cultures influence clothing styles, accessories.. and yes colors!

  • For the Amarr, it will be a useful set of suggestions for dressing up to represent the House you may owe fealty to.. a handy guide for us going into the Succession Trials which will bring many social events and outings.

  • For the Gallente, Charles is working on how he will approach it.. perhaps by brands or by Corporations or subculture. He is still working on it, and he has quite a creative hand so we are looking forward to what he comes up with.

  • Charles will also design the atmosphere of our venue or booth as he has some solid experience with hosting and reception. We are delighted to note that he already dreamed up with some ideas that will reflect both our inner characters in a subtle way.

In any case, we hope to see you at N.E.F. 1. We will have some material specific to our topic to share with you soon.

Guys, show up so I can show off some clothes and make you jealous of my hair. It's tomorrow! Well, today, technically.

Oh well.

Show up. Thanks in advance.

I don't care what you think, as long as it's about me.
