How so? We've already established that if somebody is not AFK and paying attention to the game while they play it is impossible to gank them in high sec.

Where The F--- was THAT 'agreed' to ???????????

It is VERY possible to do just that with Sensor Booster w/Scripts and Scrammer. EASY EASY EASY.

I'VE DONE it myself.

Then the exhumer wasn't paying attention. If a miner is actually playing the game and staying aligned to a warp out there is no way for them to be ganked. During our ice interdiction there were a couple of people who did this and we never killed them.

True, but for 3mil an hour constantly clicking/alligning to other bm and keeping at range of rock you mine, while clicking the d-scan button every 1.5s is tedious.

So don't do it.

You want to avoid ganks, that's how you do it. If you want to lazily mine away, you risk being ganked. It takes effort to avoid certain risks.

And in this case the effort is un-justified.. I dont mine .. dont have skills for it. If i did mine, i would stop it immediately and go for something else. Or try to move to one of many null industrial alliances... get another five or so account and take mining to different level.

Which is why miners should thank us for freeing them of the shackles of mining.

I love little shirts. I get to use them to dress up my precious little Doggie, ooh isn't he just adorable?

EDIT: As for topical posting, I figure when the OP goes off the rails, I get to drive right off with him.

becaise CCP encourages it , CCP wants you to go and gank and grief as much as you can and if you can hurt them in their RL wallets even better
Don't worry about mining and industyry you got macro' s for that aswell CCP even encourages hem aswell , why you think plex prices are so high you can even buy 2 hulks for one plex now
It is the first step in their masterplan to exterminate all high sec industry , this whole expansion is
their end solution is to see that 80% of their players will finally give up so they can only concentrate on PVP content only

But don't worry if you lose your precious very expensive and very rare BC you will still get a free ibis

I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... Voltaire

For your editorial pleasure. Please sprinkle a few of those in your next post, along with reasonable capitalization and breaks between thoughts.

Secondly, you're wrong in just about every way possible.

Why does this subject always degenerate into "NO U"?

I hear the middle ground is nice this time of year, folks.

95% of the players are loving EVE, the other 5%? On the forums.

How so? We've already established that if somebody is not AFK and paying attention to the game while they play it is impossible to gank them in high sec. The arguments for making ganking harder are from people who don't want to have to pay attention or want to be able to play while tabbed out doing something else--something only miners feel they are entitled to.

Can you explain how it is impossible to be ganked in hisec if you are paying attention? Also what are the precautions that you mention, you are not being very specific.

I've explained it several times but I'm always happy to help so I'll explain it again.

You create two bookmarks on opposite sides of the asteroid you want to mine...both of them 200-300km away. Warp to your asteroid and start mining while aligning to one of your bookmarks at 75% speed. Before you travel out of range of your asteroid turn around and align to your other bookmark. Repeat as needed. Warp out as soon as the big bad ganker enters the belt.

Super simple but most miners don't want to put forth the effort and would rather sit stil and be tabbed out to the forums where they post on the forums about how unfair life is.
