So, one of the biggest issues with Jump Fatigue is the fatigue endured during a reset.

So you're out fishing, catch your prey, and drop your BLOPs -- mission accomplished. You then need to walk home or incur additional jump fatigue getting back.

I propose a simple change to coincide with the release of citadels.

Allow a corporation to declare a "home citadel". This declaration could only happen once every 7 days to ensure it's not abused. Jumps TO (not from) that Citadel (within range of course) would not count under the jump fatigue mechanics. This would mean that your jump reactivation timer would not apply nor would you accrue additional jump fatigue.

This maintains the stated desire (to prevent force projection and rapid deployment across the universe) while further enabling the use of capitals within your 5-8LY sphere. It also allows the return of ninja blops attacks, in and out quickly... instead of the current get in, cloak up, get out approach.

So basicly you want an easy escape for the huge nullsec alliances while the smaller alliances keep their handicap?

You should make the effort to consider your trip home when deciding if a hotdrop is worthwhile.

But don't you think they're going to require a shitton of materials to build?

Fatigue is working as intended, deal with it.
They are even throwing out a bone to all the careless types that went and ramped theirs up by placina lower cap on it in the next release.

If anything, this change would further emphasize the depopulated areas around big supercap-holding groups by making it easier for them to dunk anything that moves in their vicinity. Not exactly a great content driver, is it?

1. Drop citadel where you want to deploy your forces.

2. Assign as capital citadel.

3. Deploy forces with no fatigue.

4. Setup jump clones.

5. Project power over increased area.

Not supported.

No. You also can jump back from there for that you need to wait or take the higher JF. Works as intended.

You seem to assume that return trips were not considered when they came up with the fatigue numbers

Aye they are replacing pos so imagine medium citadels costing around the price of a pos whet xls will be a few bill as these are for larger alliances
