Trying to transfer character

I have been trying to transfer this character and cannot, the software stops at "target is not active." The buyer is active and has a open space. Half a week later and three support tickets and no response. Not pleased with customer support. This is a gameplay mechanic and a way for CCP to make money but they seem to make little effort when it doesn't work. Is this typical CCP effort? Any help would be appreciated.

bump. still nothing from CCP. Wonderful support system they have here (sarcasm) I feel sorry for the buyer who is getting a good deal on a toon if only he could get the transfer. As always CCP you suck and neglect your customers, this game is only good because of the community.

You have double checked you are sending it to the correct character yes? Has an GM giving you any advice on what to try?

Raise it under "stuck character" category.

this sounds to me liek your trying to transfer it to the character name and not the account name, the guy buying must supply the ACCOUNT name, and not name of toon,
After being involved in 50+ toon transfers (both buying and selling) never once had a problem, but have heard of a similar one before.

Poxs! Thank you you are exactly right, five days later and no response from CCP and it took me all of 30 minutes on this forum to get help. The Eve community is awesome. Sending positive vibes.
