Is there a software that i can run in my second monitor with a interactive map that could show my current location, and fleet location, almost like the ingame map, but run it outside the game, so i can have the map open in one monitor and keep playing on the other

GARPA is your closest match, or just evemaps if you can live without some of the more fancy options.

You can connect an in-game browser to it that can track you, but the out of game software can not.

Pirate's little helper

Dotlan

Both work welll showing your location, PLH has a couple of other handy options.
Fleet location cannot be shown in any tool as there is no api endpoint for this. Ingame map shows where your fleet members are, but you might have noticed already that it is not updating very fast.

Not quite true, Siggy tracks where all logged in members are in WH space and K-space if you can be bothered putting all the manual systems and connections in for K-space. Wish siggy did that automatically sometimes would be awesome for out of WH roams.

Plus once each user has logged in to siggy via IGB, you can minimize it and use an out of game browser to see where everyone is.

So if I look up the map for lets say providence in dotlan, you replicate it inside siggy?

something like this? http://i.imgur.com/JBZL4cu.png

Can i somehow use Siggy tracking outside EVE?

Yes, that's how I do it.

You can track any member that is logged in to Siggy in the IGB on an OGB, you don't even need to be in game to watch where your fellow pilots are.

There is an option to turn the tracking feature off, if you have some users that don't want you to know where they are. But when I was in WHs I left this option on and not allow for users to disable.

How long is the normal update timer, like how long does it take for siggy to update to my new location?

Hi,

Make sure he is logged in to siggy in the IGB and does not close the IGB, just minimise it. Also check that you both allow the option to show location, as far as I can remember a user can disable this.

Speedy

Edit.

Oh and if he is in a system that is not on the siggy map then he will also not show up.

And yes this is my alt, bugger.

Strange,

I have just checked via an OGB at work and I can see my corpies locations. They are in HS atm with the systems and connections added manually so we could test this out of J-space. All is working great.

Does he log in to siggy via the group password? The only thing I can think of is that he is logging in to his own separate siggy account?
