With respect to today's announcement by the Court Chamberlain Pomik Haromi of the state funeral of Empress Jamyl I and the news that the Imperial Succession Committee has been selected, SFRIM is prepared to close its own period of mourning and to provide its Statement on the Succession Trials.

The passing of Empress Jamyl Sarum I marks a dark moment in the history of the Empire, having been divinely appointed by God Himself when she was returned to us to repulse the Elder invasion. She led us into a prosperous age and an enlightened one. Under her divine leadership we saw wealth, success, and victory. She led with a just and swift hand, but showed mercy where it was needed. Yet, she was brutally and without reason taken from us by the deviants and monsters called Drifters. The members of SFRIM have the deepest appreciation of her leadership through extraordinary tribulation; we mourn her absence while celebrating her ascendance into Heaven.

SFRIM wishes to relay our deepest gratitude for her dedicated service and join with the Faithful mourning of her loss. SFRIM also joins in PIE’s and CVA's calls for solidarity with your fellow brethren and friends in our mourning and stands ready to continue defending the Empire from all threats both outside and within.

In regards to the succession trials, SFRIM will refrain from declaring public support for any individual Heir (insofar as SFRIM will support wholly the ultimate successor as determined by the Succession Trials), individual pilots will be permitted to declare their individual support should they so choose to under their rights as a Amarr Citizen.

We wish the best of God’s Blessings for the upcoming trials and pray they are short and decisive.

I fully concur with Ms. Aspenstar on this. I will personally be spending much time I'm prayer on the matter of whom I may personally support and will hold blameless other corp maters who may feel led to support other heirs.

I feel it is a wise and noble thing that as a Corp SFRIM is clear that it's support is for most to the Empire and Gods holy will.

Amen.
