Eve is a great game but it's not growing...
The number of subscriptions aren't growing unless you count people's alts..
I login and at Best is always 20k-30k ish pilots online...
I'm betting a 3rd are alts... I can tell you 3 are mine lol
And what new players eve gets run into this massive wall of crap...
Steep learning curve
Skills take forever to train especially at lvl 5 range.. and there are a bunch of them..
You want to be good with hybrid weapons you have like 5_6 skills to train up in gunnery and other support skills ect...
Inflation in the game is getting worse... thanks to plex and the pi crap added to everything being built which is a total pain in the tail..
The game goes from fun to like another job...
Then we have hi sec scammers... suicide gankers... all which are ok according to ccp..
I know people who have left the game souly because of that..

At some point ccp has to realize their losing potential profits..
Losing subscriptions and potential players...
They are trying to increase profits right???
People try it.. yeah it's a cool game but it's too much crap to deal with...
So back to whatever game they were playing before...
I dunno how they could fix it..
Maybe a second pve server...
Thin out the skills a bit..
Slow more them one character to train without shelling out another $20 or a plex..
Make building ships and mods easier requiring Less materiel lowering prices?
Stop the hi sec ganking.. no PvP in hi sec unless war dec or dueling..
Scamming I dunno.. if you're that stupid it's on you..
I know eve is a nitch game but I've seen a lot of people come and go..
I've played a few games that have shut down due to lack of subscriptions..
SWG is a prime example of a game that was great then failed miserably and shut down due to the ignorance of SOE ...
I know most of us are like the game is prefect the way it is..
And to me it is but it's not growing..
Which means the future of eve could end..
And all the time and money we put into EvE could be gone overnight..
I don't have an answer but it's something to think about..
