Issues, Workarounds & Localization

Hey, I am unsure whether this belongs here but it's the only thread I could find that would 'seem' like a question such as this belongs here, anyway. Since the last major patch, I've noticed in DED complexes, deadspace sites and quite few random areas/Mission areas, in my main window where I see my ship and the world around me, objects such as 'Debris, Broken Engine Parts, some types of NPC Lookout Towers, some rock formations and all manner of unimportant crap is filling the screen like a celestial in the form of a white, corner segmented square.

At first I didn't mind, but some mission areas and deadspace areas are FILLED with such objects, cluttering up the screen and making it look just ugly, rather than see the world, I see lots of unimportant nonsense amongst things like rats, wrecks etc.

I've fiddled with my overview settings for AGES and can't turn the damn things off, I performed a reset and nope, still there, I've tracked down the problem to the bracket settings, so messing with those DOES remove the annoying debris, but it then removes every other marker on the screen to, some get rid of the markers for drones in space, others remove things like asteroid belts and yet more just clean out the entire screen of markers.

I can't for the life of me figure this out, does anyone have a tip for managing brackets, I found one bracket setting 'General' which more or less solves it but it removes seeing drones, which is a pain when you're trying to find them at a pinch when they normally show up as green icons.
