contract problems

hello fellow capsuleers, i hope you can help.

i have a vindicator and a minmatar shuttle in the ship hangar both assembled.
i can create a contract for the shuttle to anybody and do it fully.
i cant create a contract for the vindicator past item selection screen.

i have contracting skill at lev 1

this is probably something stupid or maybe a bug, it has affected alts on the same account with various different ships. but then allows cheap stuff to contract.

trading in station works fine, but i should be able to contract but cant

so confusing please help me, i submitted a ticket a week ago but its a no response situation there. Sad

have you trained "Contracting " at all?
if not that's your problem

contracting is trained lev 1, even tho i dont need to because i can still contract the other stuff just not the vindi

and no there is no error message, it just wont progress past the item selection window

try unloading the modules. meaning no ammo or minning crystals or scripts etc... if that does not work then also try emptying cargo hold. But I think it might be loaded turrets maybe.

Silly question and I'm not even sure if the ship would show up in your contract screen in this case, but are you trying to contract the ship while you are still inside it? If so, leave ship first.

Also try right clicking the ship > Get Repair Quote. TBH I can't remember if ship damage prevents a contract, but it's worth a try.

Do it this way -> of both shuttle and vindi on same station, then left click on shuttle -> create contract, priv to your alt, on the next screen there going to be all your assets shown which are currently at the station hangar, click on select all items. If vindi is not popping up, there are only two cases either it's buggged or it's bugged.

tried the guns unloaded/loaded/removed/fitted all not the cause. i dont want to tear the rigs out to repackage it to try., i tried the other suggestions and they didnt work either, wow, really frustrating bug

i mean would it kill them to put an error message there saying what im doing wrong. ccplease

Yeah this was already mentioned so i didn't pick it up once again. Looks like a nice lil bug to me.

its fixed people, i got an answer from ccp. yep u probably guessed no plex or wyvern tho.

so i couldnt do the contract because, i needed to -

1-press ESC

2-under RESET SUPRESS MESSAGE SETTINGS please find the NON-EMPTY CONTAINER message

3-press RESET

4- return to game create a contract, and yep bingo it works again. Lol
