If an Israeli tank crew is trying to hit someone they will hit them, the Merkava uses a 120mm smoothbore main gun almost identical to the Rheinmetall L44. Meaning it can hit a car moving 140km/h from 4km away and the Israelis are very good, so hitting a guy at 100 meters leaves no chance in hell they'd miss. Especially if they load an HE round in and fire at the ground where he's standing, then they also add a 5 meter margin of error.

Tank crews are trained to hit tanks not people. They got damn close though even though it is a smoothbore which does show quality.

They really wanted to off em they'd have used the coax. But I digress it's not exactly late breaking news that Israelis dont have the phrase "disproportionate escalation of force." Matter of fact not too many people really have that aside from NATO nations. (But they do have those" woops did we do that ?")

But Iran is King (sultan?) of saber rattling. North Korea wins...except sometimes they do fire back or dig tunnels.

The gun has a fire control computer, all you need to do is put the crosshairs on the target. The computer figures out range, elevation, windage, temperature, and speed (both target and tank) and then puts the gun where it needs to be to hit the target. A stationary person is not hard to hit.

The Israelies proved their meddle in the battle for The Golan Heights in '73. The tankers maintain the skill but the tanks have gotten even better. Also tankers are trained to hit people too, the coaxial machine gun isn't there to shoot tanks.

Watch the video again and take note of where the man in black was standing and where the shell went. It was clearly aimed at him.

The T-72 Export Model is one of thee most persecuted armored vehicles in the world. Wherever they go they are killed on mass. Using the advanced targeting system of western tanks and deadly weapons of military aircraft the T-72 can barely if at all fend off the brutal attacks as they are slaughtered.

The methods used against these poor creatures very in cruelty from Shells, Missiles and Rockets to more inhumane methods such as Land Mines and Molotov Cocktails. Soaking them in Gasoline they are often left to burn to death in fields, on the side of roads and even in town squares / city centers where the people watch.

I beg anyone who is reading this. Stop the violence against T-72 and other Russian Cold War Era Export Model Tanks. This isn't War it is Genocide.

Maybe the camera of the guy in the first video was mistaken for an RPG-Launcher. This can happen in war-like situations, as this video proves (a group of people gets killed because someone confused a Camera with a RPG): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8qI1bi16GM&feature=related

In general i don't think Israel reacts too harsh or inappropriate. It's surrounded by hostile countries, by people who have sworn to wipe it out and are working on it. It is terrorized with regular missile attacks, sometimes even with suicide bombings.
The conflict is thousands of years old, you can read the Jewish version of it in the Old Testament of the Bible. And it won't end in the near future. From what i saw the hate and anger of the Arabs against Israel is rising and since the situation in many Arab countries got destabilized in the last few years/months ("Arabellion"), there is for sure lots of potential for a new hot conflict.

The U.S. doesn't have to be involved in the beginning of the war. These things occur on their own over there cyclically. It's only been a few decades since the last one. So leaving U.S. politics aside, I think it will happen in 14 months, a donkey will carry a nuclear bomb into Jerusalem in it's tummy.

Once they have a good false flag terror attack carried out in the US, give it a month from that point.

Blasting a federal building worked in the 90s, but it took two skyscrapers going down to really scare the people. Next one has to be a real sheeple-scarer to get more war.

From that point there is a ticker of sorts, pulling Reichstag 4.0 is intended to make sure that America lacks the kind of opposition to war that it has for around 10 years now. But the bastards have to be sure they can win that gunfight.

America is in a reverse hostage situation at this time. There are pundits saying how great it would be if "Obama could get his 911 so he can prove how great he could be" while at the same time promising martial law if "it" happens again. But Obama is so discredited at this point, they just might wait to repeat the cycle of 2000-2001 which is to get everybody so angry at Obama that they put a republican in place, who will be a puppet working for the same banksters as Obama and Bush, and the sheep go thinking "all is well now! no need to pay attention any more. Bahhh bahhh bleat bleat", and the trap is sprung. Definitely a pattern here.
