Hi all,

i've been playing EVE since 2008, lived in 0.0, wh and lowsec space and participated in huge and small fleets. Now i find myself at a point in RL where i just don't have the time to spent the hours in EVE wich i used to, so i decided to get my ships out of lowsec space and joined the first corp i joined back in 2008 wich is now rather inactive and do some missioning and mining. Just for the fun of it.
But there is no fun in it. Mining solo in a 1.0 security system aint safe at all. Missioning aint a problem but when you try to get your salvaged goods to jita to earn a few isk, chance of getting blown out of the sky is a serious option.
EVE was a game for all players back in 2008. Empire for those who don't want to interact in any kind of pvp, lowsec for daredevils and 0.0sec if you want to live in a corp and defend your systems together.
CCP failed to take measures to keep hi-sec space safe for the players who are not in this game to pvp and carebears blowing up a hulk or badger in 'safe-space' are free to do so.

Ofcourse i know how peeps will respond to this message, that there is no safe spot in eve, but that was not the origin of the game where hi-sec space was indeed a safe place to be.

I dare CCP to take measures against the game tactics where peeps blow up ships in hisec space and let corpm8s loot the wreck.

TL;DR version of OP

I'm a 2008 carebear that thinks highsec should be perfectly safe.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

Seems this 7 year "vet" still has no clue about what EVE is and how it works, showcased by his latest hauler loss (probably the reason of this sperg thread) where he hauls 1 bil in a T1, using the wrong MWD. This all reeks of "I haven't learned one single thing in the last decade or so, but if something goes wrong then it's not at all my own fault".

And another example of his... lack of thinking is posting on his main about how he hates pvp.

Salvaged that tower those implants and tengu parts ay?

If you are going to lie to us at least put some effort into it. Like your fits, this is just insulting

There once was a ganker named tisi

A stunningly beautiful missy

To gank a gross miner

There is nothing finer, cept when they get all pissy

Why would they take measures against "game tactics" that the specifically coded into the the game and that have been there essentially from the beginning?

Some free advice: next time you lose a ship doing something silly (or even if not actually), take a step back from the keyboard and take a deep breath before you come to the game designers begging them to change the game in your favour. Almost everyone can get a little upset over a loss and it is best to let the dust, and your emotions, settle before doing something you regret. In other words, calm down miner.

If after that you still feel that the risk of loss (and actual loss) isn't fun, then perhaps Eve is not for you. Strange it took 7 years, but Eve is built on risk. If it isn't your cup of tea you can unsubscribe and then you tell CCP why you are ending your subscription and it will carry much more weight then you whining like a child that you lost at a PvP game so you want the rules changed.

I've been running internet spaceship missions since launch of EnB (among doing other things), SWG (pre-nge) and then here.
You're doing it wrong.
Mission salvaging?!? Shocked
grr mining, I don't even

But if you insist, can I have your stuff?

I'm in it for the money

This will soon descend into yet another hi-sec versus the rest bore-fest.

hmm one sense a potential troll post.

1000s of people dock at Jita every day without getting ganked.

There are ways of guaranteeing getting ganked, for example load up a T1 Industrial with enough stuff to set off 50 alarms when any scout ship cargo scans it (stick a plex in it for good measure) , increase its gankablility even more than usual by expanding the cargo capacity and then stick it on autopilot with a route that runs through one of the main pipelines into Jita.

There are obvious ways to limit getting ganked at trade hubs:
- never afk or autopilot in or on a route to a major hub system
- never use shuttles or unfitted ships people create disposable free trial alts specifically to kill these
- for huge m3 loads just use Red Frog they are cheap
- for medium sized loads try a DST and limit ISK value of the load
- for small loads use a fast aligning nano fit interceptor or covops capable frigate
- generally nano fit for low sig fast aligns
- use your losec tricks like align/MWD/Cloak even though its highsec
- do not **** people off in chat and stir up trouble

I was afraid i would get these beavis and buthead like responses.
For the record: yes i lost a badger in jita last night hauling worth a bil of salvage goods and no i don't mind losing that ship or the isk wich i have enough. If i hadn't i would not have taken the stuff in a badger.

What's the point of high security space when it isn't. EVE was a game for all players, and i have been in pvp corps most of the time, but it seems that after indeed 7 years EVE is just a PVP game now, and i just don't have the time for that at this moment.

So if that is the case i prob have to quit for now.
