Massive. Completely, utterly massive. Nebulae. Ships. Skills. Kills. Kills. And more kills.

Time to go deep.

lol you should do well, although the correct phrasing is "how much isk are you going to give me to not shoot you in the face?"

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Not about the size of the ship, it's the motion of the ocean

Moments ago, a Machariel battleship (fast & heavy, ideal for bumping) combat-probed my insta-undock location upon me leaving a trade hub, and began bumping my lethargic freighter. The pilot assuming I was trying to get away with valuable cargo.

It was at this point I realized I had also forgotten to re-fit the tank modules after changing the modules around (I juggle cargo, tank, and agility modules as practical for the current cargo load) and repackaging the extras ... I had in fact repackaged them all! Note that I've been playing EVE for over 6 years, and yes, I still make silly mistakes!

I thought for sure that I was shortly going to get an EVE-mail from the SCC about the default insurance payout for my lost ship.

Mistakes in EVE usually have a predictable outcome!

Lucky for me my cargo's low value wasn't worth the effort, and the Machariel pilot let me go after I assume he scanned my cargo. At least I did something right!

If you can cultivate the right attitude, primarily learning from your mistakes, and not blaming others, and accepting their style of game-play, you will go far in EVE and still have fun even when the outcome is not in your favour.
