Mourning the passing of Empress Jamyl

Throughout the cold void of space
To stars ablaze and sunlight spheres
We set our course, on radiant hulls
To carry our wondrous lights onward

The Empire of old, made mighty law
As judgments fell to ringing bells
They labored long to god's song
To bring enlightenment to all

Our Empire spread, On wings of dread
To all who mock the word of god
Worlds of aphotic ignorance we found
We brought our light to those we bound

The Empire was on the brink of death
From beyond death Jamyl came
Her enemies fell by her command
The Empire was saved by her and god

Throughout the cold void of space
To stars ablaze and sunlight spheres
We set our course, on radiant hulls
To carry our wondrous word of god

The Empire heralded her name
Jamyl was given the crown of Kings
She lead us on, and many a song
Was sung of her and golden age

The Drifters came on unholy wings of death
The Empire fought without bated breath
The Drifters ire was more fierce than fire
Many a soul felt the hand of god

The Drifters forsake all but one
They moved to her to see it done
The light of death came onto to her
As she fell we wept tears of blood

Throughout the cold dead of space
To stars dim and moonlight spheres
We set our course on ships of war
To avenge her crown and our wounded soul



I mourn the loss of my beloved Empress. She will be Avenged, but the Empire comes before the Empress.

I support and pledge my loyalty now to King Khanid II to assend to his rightful place as Emperor of the Empire.

Seriously, how are we supposed to even remotely feel sympathy for a deceased tyrant dedicated to the preservation of a society built on slavery, zealotry, and subjugation?

Everything depended on the writers.
Were Chronicles where Empress freed slaves.

Yes, she was sick but not according her vein.
She fought with it.
So that's why CCP does not opted for A?
Chose the easiest option. Just cut her out of history.

How little you understand us. The Empire was not built upon slavery and subjugation. The Empire only enslaves those it encounters who sneer at the divine word. Those who scoff at our almighty god. Those who choose darkness and depravity are the one who are enslaved and subjugated until they learn the error of their ways. And in this great endeavor their descendents my prove themsevles worthy of joining the Empire as a free citizen.

If you wish proof look no farther than the Ammatar. When the Imperial fleet arrived the Ammatar welcomed them and embraced god and the Empire. They have been rewarded with near autonomy. They enjoy the freedom and prosperity that all free citizens of the Empire enjoy.

Had the Matari simply followed the Ammatar's example they too would share in that same freedom and prosperity. Instead the Matari chose darkness and depravity; and so they reap what they have sown for themselves.

Remember this well. Empress Jamyl returned from the dead. She then lead a small task force and destroyed you entire invasion fleet and crushed any hope you had at challenging the Empire.

Imagine and fear what the next Emperor will do.
