any more development on the new thrasher model?

The new valklear glory skins came out, and I think they look awesome. I would like to buy one for either the thrasher or rapier, preferably the thrasher because I fly it more often (I have already purchased enough Aurum to do so).

That being said, I don't care for the new model outlined in http://community.eveonline.com/news/dev-blogs/the-dominix-work-in-progress-and-a-new-art-director/
I would hate to buy a skin for the thrasher, just to see it changed into something I don't care for.
Are there any new screenshots to consider?
I don't imagine I would be able to refund my skin for Aurum when they change it if I don't like the new design?

Otherwise, I might just have to go with the rapier, although I would much rather get it for the Thrasher What?

^ Thrasher cannot be redesigned. It was made to look like a prehistoric armored fish, that sunk to the bottom and got all of the edible parts chewed away. CCP will never, ever counter that bottom trash design theme for the Trasher.

New trasher model looks amazing. GJ CCP!

Roll it out ASAP so I can get that new skin for it!

I say no to new design.

This ship is not a few containers stacked up.
It should be edgy, rusty, panzerheaded, projectile spitting, minmatar ass haulin' spaceship. It is this way now and it does not need redesign.

Custom ship skins, character creator style "repaint". Bring it!

Always thought that was a great nautical touch.

New Thrasher engines look rather pitiably small.

So many good concepts (bottom left corner is best imo) yet they choose something that looks like flying barn...

If I recall correctly the same 3d artist that created the stratios is the one also doing the thrasher. He recently showed some progress on his current priority, citadels, during alliance tournament.

While I appreciate all the voices calling for it not to be changed, that has been voiced in many other threads already (as well by me).
I figure they're going to change it anyways, but I was hoping to see more what the end ship will likely look like.

Maybe I will wait until after the citadels are released then in order to see how the progress on the thrasher goes in order for me to decide if I like it enough still to buy a skin for it.
I kind of regret buying Aurum now, since I am hesitant to purchase a skin for a ship which will be changed ...sometime Oops

Of course they will, I suspect the artists locked themselves in a room without light and a with a few sci-fi novels, legos, cardboards and balls to play and they only come out when its raining to not lose a mood.

If someone criticize them, they will become silent for a few weeks and start to draw concepts of new beheading machines to vent their emotions.
