Let us choose warp speed up to hull max

With the (imminent) death of fleet warp, please allow us a mechanism to set warp speed up to hull max.

This will allow fleets to continue to manage their warp speed as a unit as the only current way to do this is via fleet warp.

Otherwise we'll have the ridiculous situation of people guessing when to initiate warp, or all the fast ships landing before the support and being blapped.

An option in the capacitor menu perhaps would be good, or something FC/WC/SCs can set for the fleet/wing/squad.

tl;dr: Please don't make it impossible to synchronise warp speeds of fleet members.

While I would prefer that CCP sees reason and does not remove fleet warp, this is a good suggestion.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Third idea I've seen today that is not complete **** and is actually good.

Who are you people and what did you do to the usual group of ass hats I use to talk to?

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

Very Yes.

A thin bar at the bottom of your speed indicator with warp min-max, setable with a right click to increments of .1 Au/S.

But I was looking forward to the hard-mode of everyone timing their warps so they landed together.

If they can control warp speed in Star Trek, why can't we AttentionQuestion

Pshh
Star trek is just Si-Fi mumbo jumbo.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Minimum of like what, 1.4 AU/sec should be there as well for variety of reasons (not getting stuck in the warp forever by mistake, not sitting there invulnerable too much etc).

They can also shoot and even board each other in the warp there as well.

i like the overall idea but there needs to be a lower limit otherwise i'm going to do 150AU warps at only a few KM/s to wait out fleets chasing me and go make dinner

Could simply floor it at lowest speed of any ship (caps) since the aim is to keep the fleet together.

Pretty much this. I live next to a 120AU+ system and boring people to death in it is par for the course when you don't want to engage with what you have.

Nope, this brakes so much stuff.
Like warping a titan after a DD to a deep safe at like 0.1 au/s and other dumb stuff.

ccp are adding something that will mean people with skill will do better than those with massive gangs of people how only lock and F1 and you lot want to water it down before its even out.

So what part of set a minimum speed was unclear?

I thought they were adding something that meant i needed more cloaked alts as an FC?

While at it they could also allow us to warp to a set distance in a set direction... oh well, keep on dreaming Colman.
