Regular crashes when launching multiple clients

This seems to have become a recurring problem, and I've run out of ideas to try and fix it.

Running one client seems absolutely fine, but as soon as I try to launch another, its probably going to crash within minutes if not instantly.

Some example crashes, taken from windows error log:

Crash #1
Crash #2
Crash #3
Crash #4
Crash #5

And here is my Dxdiag

And my history.txt

The common theme seems to be 'Exception code: 0xc0000005' which is a memory access violation. I'm not getting this from any other game or software and am not having any other trouble with my PC. I had the same issue on my previous Win 7 install and my current 10 install. It seems to be completely isolated to EvE and only when running multiple clients.

Running EvE with the 'performance' preset and with sound disabled is no help.

People seem to be having similar issues, few examples:

Another weird thing to note is when the client crashes, I get the 'ccp exefile has stopped working' and until I tell windows to stop 'checking for a solution to the problem' the client will actually remain connected indefinitely, appearing in corp/local/whatever.

I have something similar, started yesterday - one of two clients will stop responding, usually within about 30mins during session change or while something else like fleet invite is going on. First the cursor stays unchanged for a few moments, then changes to the hourglass, then clicking anywhere produces a whitescreen "CCP ExeFile is not responding".

The only thing I changed was turning sound back on on the main client (I played without sound for a long time), turning it off again does not solve the problem.

Running 2 Clients from same directory, "copy" for second client is just a junction, worked without a hitch until yesterday (I was always under the impression that the EVE client is a very stable piece of software, that is about to change :) ).

Other games so far run flawless, but I have only run a couple others for a longer time yesterday evening, notably FarCry4.

Yup, you've described exactly what I see when a client crashes.

Would you be able to navigate to your windows error log to check if you're getting the same error next time you experience a crash?

Gonna try to keep this thread alive until some kind of solution is found or CCP confirm its something they are aware of. It could even be an AMD or Windows issue but I really have no idea.

Same thing under Linux, and from what it sounds like - most everyone is having the same problem.

Waiting for some word from CCP, time to bring the servers down and roll back the broken patch please.

Yes confirmed on Windows 8.1, perfect before update, now cannot launch more than 1 client. This seriously did not get tested?

Post downtime it's impossible to launch 2 clients. Whether via launcher or via exefile.

The problem seems to be shared cache related, because a TQ client also prevents a SiSi client from launching.
Oh, and 2 sisi clients are also impossible.

The interesting part of the backtrace

Anyone tried running rescache.exe yet? That was the fix for the black screen problem that they were having a few days ago. I just started running the program, but I've got to leave for work before it f inishes.

It appears that the problem has been solved. That is, there's a small new patch. Close the client, restart the launcher, and it works.
