Hey now, it just doesn't seem sincere unless you at least contract out some of your stuff. I'm always accepting contracts on pirate faction subcap hulls btw. We could show them you really mean what you saySmile

The day I quit will have no pre-quit posts, I will simply quit, and I will Biomass all my Characters with all my assets, some 200 Billion ISK worth. No one gets a bloody thing...

Long time players quitting the game with bitterness is always puzzling to me. How did something they put so much time and effort into turn into a bad experience?

I compare it to people who become consumed with golf, but lose interest and decide to do something else. I doubt golfers regret the time they spent playing the game. What makes quitting a video game different? Do players mourn the loss of enjoyment they used to get from the game? Are they angry because they think the game left them? A latent worry that video games are a waste of time?

Perhaps leaving Eve is like a divorce -- it takes a while for some people to remember the good stuff more than the bad.

indeed. eve is like a wife of 20 years. you love the nostalgia of what it was, but you cant stand being around her anymore knowing she's cheating on you with some WOW player down the road. every few months in her devblog she writes something that hints at her eventual divorce papers
