From the battle front:
Quote:
the war between the Drifters and the Amarr Empire continues to roll on. It will however be a little quieter

No doubt, Empress Jamyl in her direct intercession to God on our behalf caused Him to send the Drifters away to give the Amarr more time to prepare for the coming storm. The Drifters are Legion, and they are relentless, and no doubt they will return, but for today the prayers of the Faithful have been answered.

Long live the Empire of God.

Amarr Victor.

I think there is no doubt that this is a miracle. Empress Jamyl in her personal pleas and prayers in the presence of God's Holy Light have caused Him to intercede on behalf of His Chosen people. She saw that we were not yet ready, so saddened by her passing that she implored God to show favor and He did.
Empress! We, your loyal and faithful subjects, praise and thank you for not forgetting us. Glory and Praise to the Almighty God for answering our prayers!

Do not get complacent; this is still a full-scale war. We did not do nearly enough damage to them to warrant their leaving on their own. Whatever the reason for their retreat, we must be watchful. They may return in the same area or strike elsewhere.

If I may say something. I know a few things about this sort of assaults the Drifters are doing.

Expect them to strike where they please for as long as they please before they move elsewhere. They haven't been defeated. An opponent who has mastery of wormhole controlling technology who is no longer showing up is no more defeated than an opponent who aims his gun elsewhere. They're about to pull the trigger on another area. Will it also be Khanid space? I don't know. It will most certainly be Amarrian space of some flavor.

If you defend the Throne Worlds, your fight is not over. It's just started. Aldrith is wise to be wary over this change.

No doubt, Empress Jamyl in her direct intercession to God on our behalf was smart enough to spend countless ISK on men and ships that we could, following her death, throw several hundred of said ships at the enemy. This was no "miracle." This was bloodletting, pure and simple.

God fought alongside us, He did not fight for us. We fought. We died. We will fight again.

I'd watch any areas the Navy has pulled vessels from in order to bolster the Khanid regions. Wherever you have weakened the most is likely to be the next target. It looks very much like they are pulling your defences one way to strike at another location.

Unless the Drifters have anything to say on the matter I would not be inclined to think there is divine intervention. For all we know the Drifters might have simply taken a holiday. They have enough command of the battlefield to dictate when and where they fight and with impunity.

They'll be back.

Meanwhile, the Federation continues to fiddle. But admittedly if the Drifters arrived in federal space they'd be mistaken for body-modders.

Don't be silly. The Drifters won't come near FedSpace. First, they'd send in the Seeker drones, and even the Drifters aren't callous enough to subject their drones to Gallente affections.

I am a stronger believer that they were looking for something specific...

And found it...

If we consider the facts, perhaps it was not just materials they were after from the observatories, but data as well. Taking apart the stations for storage modules and what not. Like us, they might have found the clues needed, but not enough to pinpoint a location. So tear apart the system. Swat them annoying Amarr like we do pests that show up at an outdoor dinner.

What did they find.... hrm.... I have yet to hear word on the condition of the systems involved.

If the seekers were to scan any of the pleasure hubs (that we are not allowed to dock in any more) I think the Drifters would be too busy feeling disturbed and bleaching their drones in the shower to attack federal space.

We're working to develop defensive tactics against more attacks. None have worked.
This won't stop us though. When we find what works, and we will, we'll share it with you.
It's far past time for this to end.
