Really this is a 2 part suggestion;

The ability to change your characters clothing, make-up and hairstyle without changing your portrait:

It is, often, very difficult to get a good character picture. Many factors contribute to it, lighting, angle, backgrounds, all of which can be altered by very minute amounts which can cause a great difference in the effects on the picture taken. If you are not changing your clone's actualy physical constrution then a new photograph should not be compulsory. Think of how difficult it would be if you had to change your driver's license photo everytime you dyed your hair, used a ne lipstick, grew a beard or even changed your clothes. Character portraits are, in effect, pilot license pictures. It can be a pain, especially for those who like to change their character's clothes often.


The ability to store a number of photographs:

It would be nice if we were ablt to save a number of photoes for reuse if we decide to change them. Say 5, maybe 10, slots? even 1 or 2 would be nice for those times we manage to take an exceptional picture. A warning window for overwrting saved photos would also be good for this. It would be very painful to accidentally overwrite a picture you love.

Add to the list the feature that we can pick and store few clothing and makeup combinations we like and want to use, and can change to one of them without the whole re-customization process.

... erm ... umm ... they seem like a nice novelty but there are too many characters to bother looking at them all. I don't see any point in changing mine.
