Drifter Incursion In amarr Space

Well the other shoe has finally dropped.

Drifters are targeting more than just the naval forces.

Any report on how the local population is surviving this incursion?

Slight correction, the Drifter Incursion is in Khanid space.

This will have political ramifications, and the distinction is not unimportant.

I must confess I've never looked up the incursions before, left them to those better equipped to deal with them.

Are the Drifters engaging in war i.e. only targeting military installations and vessels or are they attacking the civilian populations?

Recon Patrol in Baratar, Akar - Khanid has made contact with Drifter forces.

Patrols of 6-7 Vigilant Tyrannos battleships around various sites. Present Imperial Navy forces suffering heavy losses.

Hostiles have been spotted guarding stations, gates, and possibly their entry wormholes, as well as attacking Imperial Navy outposts.

Further information as it comes to hand.

Baratar, Akar region, Khanid. Security status 0.2.

Ladies and gentlemen, and also Navy Commanders, if you read this - I think it will be easier to just evacuate local population than actually battle Drifters.

Unknown at this time. All previous encounters of drifter activity ignored capsuleers and our infrastructure aside from scanning. Exception is dismantling of the jovian observatories and if we got too close. In addition, whatever the heck caused them to take out Jamyl!

So at this time, no bloody clue!

Common sense indicates the Drifters intend to destroy us all. It is time to cease all hostilities and mobilize together to face them. It is not too late just yet. Fail to act and it will be. If Amarr falls, we all fall.

.. is almost always correct. The problem is most people don't have much or any common sense at all.

In times like this a brutal reality check is forced upon many, and they realize that holos about the galaxy uniting against a common threat...

...are just holos.

All the forces of the Mashtori are in deployment to evacuate and save what we can.

So, the Empire Fleets are actually doing something about it, not just Sansha incursions MK II....

Loyalty point payments are coming from amarr and not Concord. Why is Concord still on the sidelines? Not from the khanid kingdom from the amarr empire, wanted that to be clear so no one feels slighted, or in this case given credit for what they are not doing.

We've seen the Drifters take aggressive action in their own defence before.
Is is any surprise they have attacked the individual who called upon her entire empire to attack them?
Is it any surprise that they are now attacking those who she ordered to attack?

Naaah. Common sense (in the sense of having a clue) is incredibly rare! :)

And Cyber, I apologize, I did indeed misspeak. I was thinking of 'Conventional wisdom'.
