Hi guys, I just stumbled upon "The Maze", I know ppl are looking for this site sometimes.

It's in null sec, I wanna sell it, but how?

Can't sell it in the market?

Contracts? If so, how much would it sell? Or an Auction?

Anyway, never done that, any suggestions?

Create a bookmark and then dock in a station and put it up for a day.

This is the accepted way to conduct this sort of transaction.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Years ago explorers could make some good ISK from selling bookmarks.

Not sure if it's worth the hassle nowadays, most everyone and their mothers can do scanning now. More than likely people will scan the general area where the Bookmark contract is located after seeing it for sale.

Also there's no telling how much life the site actually has left. It could last for a few minutes up to a few days.

If it was not for his post, many people would probably assume that it was an Escalation, rather than a site he scanned down.

The real risk is that someone else runs it while his bookmark is up on contracts.

As someone who made 90% of his wealth from explorations and running an escalation service for my alliance, I would never have accepted a contracted bookmark from someone I did not know. Too much risk that you are not the only one with the bookmark.

Risk=isk
Lol

A mobile depot, mjd, cloak and a bunch of warp core stabs is a good precaution when running any combat site/escalation. Won't save you from scram + bubble/infinity point if you get caught but does grant a degree of impunity.

Thanks for your answers!

I auctioned it and I got 1 000 000 isk out of it.

Anyway it's better than nothing!

Unless you're selling it to friendlies, this kind of transaction is super suspicious. All the 'it's a trap' alarm bells would be ringing in my head if I ever accepted a bookmark from a random.

Basically, if you don't know anyone in the area that trusts you, I wouldn't bother.

a trap feels like too much effort, I'd be more worried about it just being a scam aka random bookmark in space rather than a complex. That said some eve players have the will to do that kinda thing, so a trap would be a worry, although not my primary one.
