Proclamation 8 - Jamyl Sarum Wanted Alive

YC 117, August 21

Today’s attack on the Titan ‘Seraph’, destroyed by a Drifter Armada is a tragic loss for the Amarr Empire. The Seraph had an estimated crew contingent of about 5,000 souls and rescue efforts are underway to rescue and/or recover the crew as of this writing.

This singular Drifter attack was focused on the Titan, piloted by Jamyl Sarum 1, Empress of Amarr. While the fate of Empress Jamyl Sarum, is presently unknown, witnesses observed the Local Message that Drifters were scrambling her pod, and subsequent destruction.

However...

It is too early, and inappropriate to grieve for the Empress at this time, as no physical body has been discovered. A similar Jamyl ‘false death’ has happened once before in Amarr history, as she had lost the ascension trials and her ship and capsule were destroyed in public view.

It is therefore suspected by myself and members of the Sixth Empire, that Jamyl Sarum, maybe alive. It is our hope that she is alive. The Sixth Empire, wants more than ever now that Jamyl Sarum be discovered, and that she be remanded into custody to face the eight charges against her.

It is our belief, that there remains the possibility that Jamyl Sarum, has taken refuge in medical clone bays provided in collusion by her overtly devout, extremist supporters within PIE and CVA… located within the Providence Region.

We ask all that are loyal to the Amarr Empire and the Amarr People, to seek out Jamyl and return her safely to our Golden Empire in all good haste.

UPDATE - 2214 hrs: Lord Pomik Haromi, Court Chamberlain of the Empire, has since released an official statement on behalf of the Amarr Empire, that he has confirmation that Jamyl Sarum was “killed in action”. While this announcement is a development of grave consequences, it shall be remembered by those of us that have wept in mourning for Jamyl Sarum, and held services for her once before. There is an old adage, “Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.” If indeed this is the final-final death and end of Jamyl Sarum, then it is not just a loss to the Amarr Empire, it is a loss to True Justice. Her charges that she has brought peril to The People still stand. There is a high chance that she has taken refuge in Providence Region by her Jamylist extremest supporters.

You are aware that members of the Amarr Heir families are not allowed to be cloned right?

You are aware that your demands concerning the Empress amount to treason against the Empire and that you are inviting hostilities towards yourself and those who are loyal to you from the True Amarrian loyalists? Your long winded and mindless claims have thus far been little more than hot air, this however may cross certain lines that many of us find inexcusable. Your accusations against PIE and CVA are also not only outlandish but provocative. It's about time you do everyone a favor, including yourself, and sit down and shut up heretic.

Didn't seem to stop her the first time.
same situation today.

While I agree that the mere existence of a religious law prohibiting royal cloning is no guarantee that no cloning took place,
the fact that then and now no corpse was found to me indicates something more.
Whenever my capsule is destroyed my body remains in space. While there might be rare occasions where it is also entirely incinerated, the same thing happening to the same person who also happens to be a royal heir and is by many seen as the prhophesied holy queen is highly unlikely.

Whatever happened today. A mere declaration from the Court Chamberlain does not convince me of her death any more than
her simple reappearance would that she must be cloned.

It is all part of His plan, of that we are assured.

Reports from capsuleers are conflicting, but all suggest that a corpse was sighted. Some say the Tyrannos took it, others that a neutral capsuleer made off with it before anyone else could.

The attack was so widely expected that Jamyl's presence at the event would be unthinkable. I have no doubt that a double stood in for her. The destruction of the TES Seraph provided perfect cover for the Empress to be taken secretly to a place of safety. When the time is right, she will return and put the usurpers to flight.

That certainly didn't take long for you to try take political advantage of a horrible day for the Empire and the Faithful. I think the initial shockwave of the titan's explosion hadn't even dissipated.

You know, everyone already knows that your organisation wants to attack Providence.

These half-baked ideas about "looking for a fugitive Jamyl Sarum", really aren't convincing anyone.

So why don't you just get on with it, and attack Providence ? And be honest about doing it because you can, and not for any particular ideological reason.

Rare indeed are the occasions I agree with the Blonde Blooder Brigade, but they're right - looking for some half-baked excuse to invade Providence makes you look like a bunch of simpering cowards. CFC (by the way, sod off with your "Imperium" nonsense, you always were CFC and you always will be CFC) has historically prided itself on not needing any reason to do any of the things it does other than "because we could." If you're going to invade Providence, you're going to invade Providence, and that'll be that.

But it's all irrelevant anyway, Max, because CFC conquering Providence isn't going to fulfil your pathetic dreams of sitting on the throne of the Amarr Empire. Nothing will. You're a nobody, a nothing, a political non-entity. The only reason anyone knows your name is because for some reason best known to himself, Mittens has decided to humour you. No amount of self-appointed ranks and titles is going to make you an Heir. They'd sooner let Garkeh Khanid back into the succession trials than they would some jumped-up capsuleer nobody with no true loyalty to the Empire.

So let me just say it again, because I enjoy watching the misery on your face as you read these words: whoever the new Emperor is, it won't be you.
