Unless you were part of the 20%, can you please for the love of alcohol sort out that bloody forum signature editor once and for all?

I just did the major mistake of touching my old signature and surprise surprise you have now disabled the URL tag. Cry

I can understand that the IMG tag is dead in the water until you start hosting the signature images thanks to the lovely https warnings everyone will get in mixed security environments.

So how about another awesome feature you could implement in the signature editor, curser movements controlled by the arrow keys. I know I can't believe it myself but apparently if you press the left arrow key the cursor would actually move left or if you are really bold press arrow up and you would jump all the way to the previous line.


Oh, and while you are at it, remove that silly "Like" feature, it is about as awesome as the NeX store.

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.

The data sent through the air is encrypted. IE: secure. IE: The guy sitting next to you sniffing your packets won't get much from them.

the problem lies in there being a security issue with the ability to misuse https to allow bad things to come in from embedded sources such as an image that may not be an image at all, but an evil script that can exploit the connection while displaying a pretty picture to the user.

most of the image links people post do not end with an extension like .gif or .jpg or .png, often its a link to a php script with an argument passed in the url to call up the proper image... or look like its calling an image.

this is why posting images on eve-gate forums fails

Nothing seems to have changed, not sure what you played with but I think what the OP was refering to is the fact that the usual 'convention' of being able to navigate a text box using cursor keys doesn't seem to work in the signature editor.
