I got a number of BPOs now, and I am really getting into this, but some not all of my BPOs after being researched won't acknowledge the giant pile of mats I got for them. I can craft light drones for instance, but my Ogre Blueprint tells me I have no tritinaium or any other mat needed, when I got over 2 million. Just trying to figure this out seems really off that some work and some don't I mean I can research the BPO fine but it bugs out when I try to make only certain ones. Is it the factory maybe?

there's a couple of dropdown menus on the top right of the Industry screen where you select 'draw materials from' and 'deposit product to'.

Set 'draws materials from' (or words to that effect) to wherever you stash your materials.

1. Make sure you selected the manufacturing operation (icon looks like a factory).

2. Make sure you selected the correct input location (above the item to be manufactured, on the right).

If the BPO is in a container, the input materials drop down (top-right) will be pointing at the container. Change it to point at the hanger.
Change the outpurt (lower right) too while you're at it.

Every time I've seen this problem posted on the forums, it's been the input drop down is defaulting to somewhere unexpected.

Cheers for the answers all. It worked a treat. Been using blueprints for ages and not had this problem before. With this particular blueprint it helped if i switched it from item hanger drop down location to blueprints location and back again to get it to work...Weird...but it worked Big smile Cheers again was tearing my hair out

Makes me think the UI needs a re-design.

It caused me a lot of grief to start with. It sorta makes sense once you become familiar with it but is not terribly intuitive to the beginner. My pet hate with it, however, is the drama that occurs when the output location (e.g. a container) is not large enough for the thing you're building. For some strange reason a dreadnought will not fit into the small container I had the BP stored in.
That particular problem would be much less hassle if, when the recipient container is too small or otherwise unsuitable, a window pops up seeking confirmation of an alternative location for the product ... with default being the hangar floor.

I do like, now, that a build output destination default chooses the place you last used for that item. That does save a few clicks and a little mental effort.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.
