Turn Off "Likes" Feature

Now that everyone knows how to script it I am sick of getting spam notifications.

It is pointless.

Yes, that's what you're suggesting, when the simpler and more specific solution is to turn off the notifications that are bothering you.

I agree remove the likes or give us an ability to turn them off individually. They are useless.

I love the "like" system, unfortunately its been ruined now by DSQ and the "Like and Get Likes" thread. Worthless feature now, which is a shame. Back to the tried and true, old fashioned +1 system I guess.

If anyone ever looks at you and says,_ "Hold my beer, watch this,"_  you're probably going to want to pay attention.

You mean by “individually” as in turn off likes from certain people?

…and the question remains: why do you need to be notified about them to begin with? You can just turn those off if you're getting spammed. I don't quite see the problem.
