While trying to log on to the forums right here also got the same error message several times

I didn't do anything differently but I can log in now as normal as in any other day.

I had this problem at 08:45 today my time and then I could not even log into this forum. I tried again after a few minutes and it worked. Now obviously I can login here too. I wonder why someone did.

Same dreaded:
"The authentication token provided by the launcher is of an invalid format. Please try again or contact EVE customer support."

I am not sure why we suddenly have this huge influx in compatability issues. I have played Eve for a solid 10 years and this last 6 months have been HORRID! Please hire two more testers before you push out patches!

I had this problem today too glad I'm not alone.

Also see the problem with accoutn management and support servers getting error messages.

On the third account I couldn't get logged into I reset the password and after that it seems to be working only time will tell :)

I was in game when I got several error messages trying to move Items from my ship fitting window into my item hanger, and more when I tried to open any of the neocom windows. I exited the game and attempted to restart but...

My launcher is missing the Username and Password boxes and the PLAY button, I cant even enter my information.

Reinstalling the Launcher did not work.
Repairing did not work.


- Update, After leaving the launcher open for about 8 minutes the text boxes and login button appeared, however they began to flicker when I moused over them, Login was successful, but I got a broken looking EULA agreement then Tranquility went offline.

I really like how this, rather important, issue is tucked away on some forum that doesn't do it justice in a thread made by a player.

IT WOULD PROBABLY HELP IF CCP WOULD MAKE A QUICK STATEMENT GOING "Hey guys, there's an issue with the launcher, go here to check it out". BUT NO, IT'S JUST MUCH EASIER TO COMPETELY AVOID MENTIONING SAID LAUNCHER ISSUES IN THE STICKY AND KEEP LOCKING PERFECTLY REASONABLE THREADS ON GD.

Because that just makes sense.

I had exactly the same issue.

Here's a workaround if you're on Windows 10.

Go to your Network settings and "Change adapter options".
You might find a lot of installed Ethernet devices (don't know why Windows 10 does it). Deactivate all except your active network devices.

This fixed it for me.

i have the same issue, i can connect on my work laptop, but on my desktop it dowsn't work

i'm running windows 10 if this helps ...

i think all started after the last friday patch from microsoft
