You should be multiplying all the bonuses: 4 turrets * 100% bonus * 25% damage bonus = 4 * 2 * 1.25 = 10

Kronos gets it's bonus from the Gallente BS skill, giving it max damage by the time you can sit in the ship while the Paladin ties it to the Marauder skill.

Hell I'll run burner missions when I'm tipsy, and even a bit past there. Blackout is simply the point your brain stops remembering stuff. Most people can function for a while after hitting that point. Passing out at the keyboard is a whole different issue, and one I've yet to have a problem with.

I would make the decision based upon where you're missioning at. That having been said, and as a pilot with m5, the paladin is a Monster of a ship. The problem is how long the train is and how overkill a Maruader is for level 4 missions. It is nice being able to salvage as you kill, but it seems l4 salvage is a thing of the past. Maruaders are more geared to running c4-c5 class wormholes or incursions, both of these activities will net you more isk than l4s by a long shot. so if your at this point I would consider moving on from missions. If your happy doing l4s though, I recommend the vindicater over the kronos. The vindicater can blitz l4 missions with ease. It is king of subcapital dps, substantially higher than the kronos and not hindered by bastion mode. The faster you blap, the higher your income. Vindicater is also welcome in incursions if you want to mix up things. Maruader just simply isn't worth the training time and money.
