Your Fleet Little Things Thread

Changed the title of this thread to represent this thread as a consolidation of player suggestions for fleet little things.
Add a comment for a "little things" suggestion you may have on fleets/ fleet UI.


1) Ability to select a fleet member (not target) from the watch list and fleet window. (Just like selecting them from overview) Only applies when they're on grid.

2) Ability to target fleet member from the fleet window.

3) Can we make leaving fleet easier already?
I can't tell you how many times I've almost selected to leave corp instead of fleet.

4) Ability to set a squad/wing/fleet to watch list automatically. Yes, you can choose to add everyone to watch list at the same time, but what I'm suggesting is that when someone leaves, it removes them, and when someone joins fleet it automatically adds them.

Fleet Ready Check
When the Fleet Boss issues a ready check all fleet members get a timed pop-up window. Their response appears next to their name in the fleet window.
Ready - green tick
Not ready - red cross
No response (window timed out)- yellow dash

Got another one.

- I set color coding to broadcasts.
I would like to see these color coding highlight the pilot in both fleet and watch list.
Sometimes it gets a bit difficult to manage logistics on several targets when your history window just fills with blue shield requests.
Would be easier managed if it highlighted their name in watch list.

This would be UI gold as well, but a question that comes to me is... how long does the person stay colored in the watchlist and fleet? After a long battle, half of your fleet member or more have broadcast for shield or armor, so your watchlist could end up solid blue if it doesn't reset them fast enough.

Yeah.. We have that problem with Incursions, where someone broadcast shields and the watch list retains that broadcast for what seems to be indefinite.
I personally don't think is should be longer than 2 minutes.
That said, players are supposed to broadcast in position when free of damage, which in my case, would highlight them green.

Also, this would work for ready checks without creating a ready check system.

can we have less boosters be reassignable without needing to revoke first please?

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it [u]WILL[/u] be.
