The 13th incarnation of the Alliance Tournament - the spectacular fight between alliances for fame and prizes - kicks off this weekend, August 15 at 14:00 EVE time.

64 Alliance compete against each other over the course of three weekends in crazy matches, explosions, and heaps of excitement. All matches will be streamed live - the first weekend is fully covered and streamed by our fantastic volunteers of the ISD team. Big thanks for that!

CCP Logibro presents the AT XIII schedule and explains our PLEX package for Twitch streamers in his latest dev blog Alliance Tournament XIII Kicks off.

Tune in and enjoy AT XIII!

So, any ideas when we will know what they are actually competing for? As in, the ship stats would be neat to get

As an eve player, who already returned once to the game during one tournament, BIG BIG BIG thanks indeed.
As an CCP customer, shame on you CCP, at this age, for not taking care of it yourselves as before.

Can you elaborate on the match numbers thing? Are you just gonna toss around the schedule for Sunday? This would be very annoying this close to the matches for many teams and their planning ...

Any chance you can give some love to the AT Wiki? https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Alliance_tournament Note you forgot to update last ATs winners.

Alliance Tournament Winners:

  1. - Band of Brothers
  2. - Band of Brothers
  3. - Band of Brothers
  4. - HUN Reloaded
  5. - Ev0ke
  6. - Pandemic Legion
  7. - Pandemic Legion
  8. - Pandemic Legion
  9. - Hydra Reloaded
  10. - Verge of Collapse
  11. - Pandemic Legion
  12. - The Camel Empire <-- they deserve their glory!
  13. - ??

Anyways, did someone say "Who will be the next winner?" or were they drowned out by someone demanding prize money / potential ships they could win stats?

Anyone else find it a bit depressing there appears to be more care about the prizes than the Alliance prestige?

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

So the numbers have been updated and the second round has been jumbled around as expected.

At least on the schedule page... The Bracket page paints another picture.

Which one is valid? Please clarify ASAP.

Edit: okay I must've tuned in right before day 2 schedule was updated accordingly. Cheers.

Seriously an opening AT XIII without those live commentators? Ugh it's the right ingredient to have me walk away from watching it.

I just could not bother to watch matches on a twitch feed without any commentary.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Actually, the first weekend doesn't get commentators (this was also true in the previous AT where the first two weekends didn't get commentators, but the last two did!)

Guys:

1st and foremost: I love eve, and have no plans to quit it at this time
2nd (consequently): I worry, although I do understand the hardships of managing teams in terms of "summer vacations", that one of THE "BRIGHTEST" events in Eve Online, don't even get a commentator from your part.
3rd: Do not take this as a rant, but merely as a formal complaint, as I am one of the geeks that sits on "the other side" and watches alliance tournament, and waits for the commentators saying "Massive" multiple times
4th: If you allocate less assets to an event, apart from mismanaged ones, you WILL get less "quality, captivation, enthusiasm, etc." from your CUSTOMERS, who play this game at the same time as waiting for the alliance tournament, and the MASSIVE commentators it had.
5th: CUSTOMERS are always right, up to a point, of course, but in this case you should have NEVER, EVER allowed this event to be commentated and given some life by one, or a series of your CUSTOMERS, by paying him a plex, two plex or one hundred plex.
6th: FFS, listen. I have 2 ears and one mouth. Hear, and DO WHATEVER your CUSTOMERS want, when applicable and logic, and economically feasible, of course.

I really love this game, but I'm getting a feeling it is getting a lot of love from you guys, but maybe in not the right direction.

Thanks, and sorry if it is too long.

Chry, your CUSTOMER from 2006 onward.
