If I'm mining with 4 friends, and I want to divide the veld equaly, why can I shift-click the entire stack and type in " /5 " ? this would drop 5 equal stacks in my hanger. :) TY

or you could use the in game calculator and take the total amount of veld gathered and divide that by 5.

You know, I actually kind of like this. It's not hugely in demand as far as I'm concerned but occasionally I want to split into several even stacks for various reasons. This would indeed make it a bit easier. +1.

Another version i'd love to bits someone had the idea of i believe ctrl-shift drag and then typing in a number, which would then split it into stacks of that number (like 2500 would become 25 stacks of 100)

Now not that i have ever done this mind but if you infiltrate a scout into a corp and you are doing the orca driving you can usually skim 10-20 percent straight off the top without newbro and friends even noticing...

To the topic: I would very much love to be able to do this. Or be able to select several items in my hangar/cargo/fleet hangar, drop them in a hangar (like a poco) with less space or shift-drop them there and have the game drop the specified amount from all stacks into the poco. Not like it is now that I have to shift-drop every single stack of PI material individually into the poco to get the specified amount.

But what does CCP do? Instead of improving the game, they advertise SKIN sales. Roll

To be fair, Skins are an improvement to the game also.
But this is a nice thing, put it in the little things thread maybe? And a Dev might pick it up.
