Constellation bonuses:
Make each constellations a bit different from each other in each region by giving them bonuses to things.
Each constellation could have a bonus to different things like:
Bonus to mining amounts
Better quality of ore or quantities or both
Better belt rats or larger than normal like 2x the amount
Anomaly quality or amount
Industry to do with bpo and copying and research
Industry to do with building
Industry with a bonus to ether T1 T2 T3 or caps in terms of speed or something
Better wormholes

Remove true sec‚ Make the bonus bіgger the further away from empire you are ѕo plасeѕ like branch tenal cobalt edge omist faythabolis and stuff are massively better than places like providence geminate curse delve and all the others that are in direct range of empire… I am sure ccp knows the mid spot of the map and can just make it so the places the most away from the middle are better and the closer you are the shitter it gets.

Make people think‚ you know what trіbute iѕ **** I wаnt to live in branсh ѕo I can get my 30% faster mining and I need this system in this constellation for this and those 2 systems in that constellation for that so I can set up my T2 production or something. And be like hay **** lord blues your been **** and not using the space I am going to come take your space because your been useless all you deserve is pure blind GTF out. And the other people go no go suck dicks come at me bro and content is created.

Like the bonuses should be so much were people think yer i am going to move there or yer its worth a war for this space.

Would this be accompanied by a change to the existing structures? Or would it accompany the change to destructible structures? I'm laughing at the idea of having a research station, factory, or refinery in the wrong constellation.

I could support this on a constellation basis, not on a regional basis. We already went through a couple of periods where one region was particularly good or bad.

How would you adjust the new index system to account for these variations? It would be a shame to continue to force people to mine or rat in systems that were specifically optimized to do something else (quite apart from the inherent problem with forcing people to rat or mine in the first place).

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

I would suspect ccp will convert all current outposts to blank XL citadels which you could them plug in whatever rigs you like depending on what constellation you’re in.

Yes it would b dumb to have it per region… but just think you could have a constellation in the south west that had rats that dropped mats like old drone lands did with a simple ihub upgrade in the right system.

Everyone has been asking for the indexes to be changed so it’s not just mining and ratting but all different types of activity that will help your defensive indexes.

Bonuses like this would be like the 2007 moon values were one side had 90% of all the good moons and the other side has none. It is a gameplay issue and it makes no sense from a lore perspectiv. Why should your mining lasers are more efficiant in another system, the WH bonuses already make no sense.

If you want to make space differant I would propose.
Give npcs their isk value in loot. Then change the payout a player receives in a way that makes sense. If an npc is killed in 1.0 to 0.5 Concord will care and they will give you a full payout. With declining security status payout is reduced until it hits zero.
To make this a bit more interresting increase the amount of npcs/sites in relation to their home region.

So in highsec we would get loot+bounty but smaller npcs and smaller spawns. In 0.0 somewhere COncord does not care there will be ahuge amount of npcs but only loot.

Same could be done for mining. Give all regions all ore types but make the asteroids in 0.0 spawn in higher numbers and make them bigger.

Players who like bounty would have to move in a ring close to the empire to get good combination of payout and npc numbers while miners and players who can handle loot would move away from empire.

From a lore point of view both makes sense, the empire regions are secure and have been used for along time pirates would not roam there with big ships and mining companys would have depleted the big asteroids.

Now some will point out that gun mining is bad because it reduces the income of miners. True but last time(2008) we had gun mining the people who got the most profit from removing it were using bot fleets which got banned. Today we have higher ressource prices and mining is worth less then in 2008 . If there would be an overflow of minerals CCP can alway set buy orders and introduce removed bounty this way into the EVE economy.

But again 2020 idea.

These things are affected by infrastructure upgrades though... So I'm not sure whether I should say that it's okay idea or insist that we should be able to build that type of space we want.
