Clarification Regarding Jump Clones & Standings
It is no longer necessary to have a minimum standing of +8 towards an NPC corporation in order to install a jump clone at that station. Within their skill limits Capsuleers can now freely create jump clones in whichever NPC station they choose to do so. This change was first introduced in the deployment of Aegis Sov on July 14 and originally unintended, but now after good feedback from the community made permanent.

Amarr Navy Capital Squadron Sighted In The Throne Worlds
Several Amarr Navy capital vessels displaying the colors of the Sarum Family have been sighted crossing into The Throne Worlds. The vessels sighted are believed to be part of the Imperial Guard, the specialist taskforce within the Amarr Navy assigned to protect the ruler of the Empire. Eyewitnesses have confirmed that at least two Aeon class supercarriers have been sighted moving between Safizon and the heart of the Empire.

Society Of Conscious Thought Vessel Destroyed In Sarum Prime!
A Gnosis class battlecruiser, piloted by Elder Mentor Matshi Raish of the Geminate Chapter of the Society of Conscious Thought, was destroyed on order of Empress Jamyl Sarum I after repeated quests for the vessel to withdraw from Imperial space after the Gnosis used an unidentified scanning system on Jamyl's Avatar class titan. The incident happened at the Mekhios Graveyard in Sarum Prime, where a combined fleet of Thukker Tribe and Republic Fleet vessels were destroyed by an Imperial taskforce during the Battle of Mekhios.

The Scope – Lai Dai supply convoy ambushed!
A Lai Dai convoy with five Charon class freighters was ambushed by an unknown force while crossing the border into the Empire. The convoy was on the way from a Lai Dai warehouse in Inohue to a Carthum Conglomerate Fabric in Jarshitsan. Casualties are in the thousands including Chief Engineers of the Carthum Conglomerate.


Alliance Tournament
Change to Imp and Fiend
Changes to the prize ships of Alliance Tournament XIII, the Imp and the Fiend, will be published next week. Remember that Alliance Tournament XIII takes place from August 15 to 30. The first weekend will be streamed by the ISD volunteers on Twitch, the second and third weekends will be fully covered by CCP's EVE TV.

Ghost fitting - work in progress
Development of Ghost Fitting (which is the ability to test fit with ships and modules you don't own and see effects of modules when active or overheated without undocking) continues as a full feature.


Technical
EVE on Windows 10
With the recent release of Windows 10, we have the good news that EVE Online officially supports Windows 10. There might be still a few issues - CCP Darwin for example mentions much reduced FPS when EVE has been started on non-admin accounts under Windows 10, please run the EVE Launcher as 'admin' under Windows 10 - but in general the experience should be smooth.

Offline installer available for EVE?
EVE Online doesn't require a full offline installer (and for the Mac an offline installer is not available, for Windows look here). Instead you can download all the game resources to a shared cache folder and then copy that folder to other computers. The shared folder is specified within your launcher setting. You can find more information about Download on Demand in the Help Center.
