Even if you did get them, you won't last long enough for two alpha strikes on a gate with zero resists. Use a rupture if you need more alpha.

Somehow I think it was very intended that polarized guns exist only in short-ranged flavour (with lesser ranges to boot). Probably that doesn't have anything to do with ganking though.

Yes. Short ranges only, so we don't get kite tankers ruining the game with über weapons.

Could get use on gate camps.

Then again, attacking such a fleet wouldn't be so bad either since the loot would be way better. I approve.
