Hello,
i'm posting just to check if there's someone who want back old jump range on capitals.
Call me lazy, insult me, write whatever you want but the short story is i'm playing " skill training online " since that nerf and i'm pretty sure i'm not the only who freezed or dedicated less time to eve online since that patch.

What i'm saying is: " quite a lot of time has passed, jump fatigue might be a feature to keep but @ least give us back jump range! "

P.S. no, u can't have my stuff Big smile

NO it was intended to reduce your mobility and it clearly has done exactly that or you would not be here complaining about it.

There are these things called gates they allow you to travel between systems. There are no limits on how many of these gates you can use and there is no jump fatigue acquired when you use them, perhaps these hold a clue to your problem.

I should put this in a sig line. You are not the first, the only, or that last pilot that CCP will crap on in an effort to try and achieve a healthy balance in this game.

IF you quit I do not want your stuff, but I do suggest that you give it to one of the many groups in game that specialize in helpging bew players they can always use help.

If you want to move quick, skill for BLOPs, they have a 50% reduction to jump fatigue, and a 8LY jump range.

This was not a bug, a glitch, or an oversight, this was part of a conscious decision by CCP to change how we play the game.

The appropriate response is to adapt your playstyle to suit the new environment.

Clearly there's someone doing your " logistic " or you don't even know what's REAL LOGISTIC.

Everyone should give a price to time and wasting my time moving stuff with a tedious mechanic it's not a good way to improve gameplay.

On a side note i've black ops and JF maxed but the whole post is about carriers, dreads, supers and bridges ranges.

So if i've to play " x ours a week " i don't want to spend all my freetime moving **** around or moving ships for ops.

In a glorious time you could lanch exe and play the game, i played several years with a single account.

These days are gone, now you need a crapton of alts just to move stuff you need to use to play and hopefully have fun.

That's the whole point of the post.

Anyone that can read a graph will make his own considerations, mine is that it shows a " not healthy game " and it was much better years ago, but everyone is the keeper of the truth on this forum and that's my last post since i'm not interested in a flame with a random internet dude.

I propose there could be modified version of Bowhead available. It would be called shopping bag ship to replace carrier in shopping bag role.

"shopping bag ship"
- This ship has no maintenance bay or just large enough to fit single battleship in it.
- This ship has jump engines with extra long jump range and gets 95% reduction to jump fatigue.
- Ship skill bonus gives jump range.

Comments are welcome for my idea.

that only accounts for all the alts people have dropped and not how many subs there are currently around.

Really? And how many of those are the famous AFK-Cloakers? For every single 0.0 system are more than one of them. Big smile

Since you forgot to turn off the mic let me take the soap box and respond to this.

What time zone was this data taken from?
Personally I used to log in 3-4 accounts at a time, now I am down to 2 at max, so how much of that drop can we attribute to other players who are doing the same thing I am?
Without a significantly more detailed information that graph simply represents one extremely small slice of EvE and as such it is essentially worthless.

Besides that I know about 2 dozen cap ship pilots and they are getting significantly more use out of their investments than before simply because there is not as much risk of being dropped on by large fleets.

I will now get off the soap box, turn off the mic and hand it back to FireFrenzy.

i think a jump range increase may be apt, you certainly need it if you want to jump a carrier into curse from lowsec; maybe an increase on range for the first jump and a decrease in range tied in with fatigue?

How much stuff are you moving and have to ask for major ops is your alliance not giving assistance here for that? Just me and not trying to get screwed over (after the the first time I was anyway)...but if fearless leaders are asking me to live and die for their cause I will uphold that part of the social contract I made when I joined up. They however have to live up to their part and give the means to keep me shipped up to fight for them. If not FRP/SRP....some locally sustained market/contracts of some kind that has me buying for about the same price as in garrison.

Worth noting if this not in place...its a sign this op is doomed to fail regardless. Kind of hard to keep sustained pressure up when your crew is saying move your own crap people. Now that op is iffy day by day for numbers. Where the hell are you people at? Umm moving stuff since you all cba to move our stuff to fight your war.

I sense to work around jump range limitations you and others you know are staging assets. That is part of the plan ccp had. To make this a pain so blob A didn't power project by a few days of movement ops to be ready to steam roll attack day. Still possible yes....but now it has burn out factor from staging everything and the kitchen sink all over new eden to do it.

There is also an old standy I used when out there. Sell my crap old region, buy in new region. Its only caveat is you need some patience and spare isk. As ,well, I used this for some evacs as well tbh. You have to ride out the usual firesale prices from others liquidating assets in the evac. Ride out a few weeks to month, your stuff should sell for normal market value after that.
