What if they continue to ignore bubbles where they land, but could not start a warp within a bubble?

i would like a change that there is only one ceptor for each race imune to bubbles and this is only for scouting --> very weak offense and decent defense.

And the second one is good for catching ships and is not imune to bubbles.

imho, the current issue is that no-risk scouting is bad for the game...

Maybe we could have racial bubbles and interceptors would only be immune to their racial bubble?

The dead travel ceptors that we kill disagree with your assertion of "risk-free scouting". You just need to put a bit of effort into it.

Bubble Immunity is like hisec: lots of pilots think it makes them completely safe, and they are usually the first ones to die.

I'd just lock them to a minimum of 2.1 seconds to align.

If only we had a shipclass made to intercept. What would we call them.. Ha! Interceptors.

That just means that they stay as they are now with exceptions for a few people on superfast internet connections within x miles of the servers in London.

I don't think CCP can put a floor on this value. Its a physical value. A ship feature that has to be there as it were. they only seem to be able to control derived values.

2 examples:

Unprobable was fixed by a flooring the value of that derived calculation. Think the magic ratio of radius to strength was 1.8 (?). Calc stopped probing around there. CCP didn't limit ships values, they floored the derived calc that had 1.8 or smaller unprobable. This seen with the sensor strength skills. My same unprobable tengu has this ratio go below 1.8 much faster and easier with these skills.

Magnatar wh effect another example. Used to make really really really really long range blaster moros. CCP didn't touch the tracking math that made this possible on the ship. They nerfed the magnatar effect iirc.

CCP would have to recode all of EVE. Might as well multithread and scrap tidi too then, while we're asking for the moon.

I think we could reach a reasonable compromise on interceptors. They and T3's lose bubble immunity, but anchorable bubbles get removed from the game.

You want to bubble a gate? Dictor, hictor, or you get nothing. If you want something bubbled you commit ships to it.
