Good riddance to bad rubish.

The thing with ecm burst is you need your safety set to red in Highsec and something tells me OP's not that type of player Pirate

Logi is a great idea.

Damps/TD don't matter much.

Tank is great option.

But honestly it really comes down to situational awareness.

Or just mine in a procurer or skiff and don't get ganked ever because they will have to spend more than the value of the killmail to break your tank.

Eve was built on a platform of risk. If they shut down code, there will be no risk remaining in high sec for many players. Even as counter-grief as CCP is at this point, I don't think they're going to be willing to eliminate all possible risk.

I can make my pitch again for bringing back can flipping...

I usually have much more to say when I post in GRR CODE threads but this observation is SO true in my case that I just had to comment. albet briefly.

No one who hasn't done it can appreciate what was lost when can-flipping was nerfed. The psychological game between the can flipper and the miner/mission runner remains unmatched in any current play-style in Eve. Getting another player to do the ONE THING they shouldn't do is pvp of the highest order and only possible from long study of the thought process of the highsec carebear.

Bring back can-flipping.

Highsec is worth fighting for.

By choosing to mine in New Order systems, highsec miners have agreed to follow the New Halaima Code of Conduct.  www.minerbumping.com

I run miner and cargo hauler characters. I am happy that CODE and gankers make high sec more interesting. Otherwise, it would be a snoozefest.

When I cry about the death of can-flipping, I always get lampooned for being a scrub of a pvper.

It really was the highest form of PVP. The dozens of techniques and tricks that went into picking fights, the smack and half-jokes that were your ammo, and the constant flying of the worst ships in eve just to look vulnerable were a playstyle like no other.

I find it amazing that CCP invented this amazing thing and didn't realize how amazing it was.

Shooting another ship is just that. I'm bored of meaningless wars against people I don't really interact with (except for an exchange of Kim's). Small team tactics is fun, but that psychological game was the heart of eve.

I'm sure CCP will take the loss of your 7 bot accounts really hard. I guess they'll just have to cry on the shoulders of their 30,000+ other subscribers.

Received an e-mail from CCP Inviting me to re-sub one of my acc's, seeing as that acc has my freighter chars in it I will not be re-subbing any time soon. We refuse to pay 10mill a year for the privilege of piloting a slow moving target, we also refuse to pay CCP for the same privilege. Freighting goods throughout the Eve universe in freighters is a bad idea, so we now use blockade runners with cloaks. Adapt or die, long live Eve. Lol

Freighters are not a bad idea. Flying them solo is idiotic, however.
Those ships are meant to be flown with escort and scouts. Doing so in any other manner is willfully being foolish.

10 mil for a permit is a pittance, but it doesn't ensure safety unless you actually abide by the terms... and be at your keys and whatnot.
Blockade runners are nice too. They tend to get blapped whenever they fail to cloak in time due to the immunity to cargo scanning.

Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.

I don't use bots. I'm always active at my keys, but not in local. I play 3 accounts at a time(computer can't handle more). I live mine with 2 mining accounts and one hauler account. But I know it the same thing to you. botting or live mining. bot/afk mining is just an excuse to kill.

No need to worry about CODE for long. went to store while there 2 guys came in wearing THE CODE shirt and jacket. started pushing people down say Long live THE CODE, New World Order of HALAIMA and must live me the Code of Conduct. the police showed up to take the 2 into custody and before they made the door the FBI stop the police and took the 2 into custody saying they where investigating the CODE order for Global Terrorism. OUCH... there jackets and shirts had the logo of the CODE alliance in-game on them. so what happens when you take in-game ideals and put this to use in RL??

Terrorism!!

So The CODE is under investigation for Global Terrorism, that means they'll be out of game soon. Maybe I will come back just to watch.

I was joking of course. Bacon is always related.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Pretty sure Dinsdale died face-down on said stash some months ago.
