Perhaps I'm not alone in thinking this, but I'd very much like to see a screensaver of the 'cloudy tunnel' admiration you get after jumping through a stargate.

It's true that looping a bit of ingame footage and turning it a screensaver makes a screensaver, but it would make a very poor screensaver. So I'll just let the pros handle it.

Hell, Win 7 and -- assuming 10 does as well -- lets you use a video file for a wallpaper image. I'd rather use the old hanger demo videos to be honest.

The pros already do it and that you are ignorant of how isnt a problem for the rest of us nor is it justification for EVE to make some game mechanic change.

I'm a typographer, not a video production expert. I can't be everything, you know. Not, apparently, like you.

I'm curious, is this all you do? Splurge your tawdry negativity over other people's posts? I simply suggested it might be nice to have a screensaver.

What wasn't required was a critical analysis of my video production skills from you. Or anyone else, for that matter.

I get that respect is at a premium on these kinds of boards, but you're not really projecting an image of Internet Badassery here. I don't quite understand why you feel it necessary to keep replying.

If they have it as a simple 2-3 hour thing to put into the right format, then releasing it when someone with the right skills has a day for short "wouldn't it be nice" projects would be awesome.

Not something I'd spend money on, and thus not something worth heavy dev time IMO.
