Greetings,

To friends, comrades, and acquaintances of Cardinal Graelyn.

As I was passing through the Amarr system while taking care of some business, I was struck by the thought of Cardinal Graelyn's absence. Aftter conferring with others of the Faithful, we would like to celebrate and remember his accomplishments.

To that end, we will be having a reception at The Holy Grape in the Emperor Family Station in the Amarr system. Beverages and light refreshments will be provided. This will be an opportunity for the Faithful, Allies, and friends of Amarr to share their experiences and memories of Cardinal Graelyn. The reception will be held at 2300 on 26/7. It is sponsored by Black Storm Clan and the Societas Imperialis Sceptri Coronaqeue

Additionally, there will be a small fleet gathering outside the Emperor Family Station to dedicate a Crusader to the memory of the Cardinal. The Crusader “Aeternus Memoriam” will remain on the station until his return.

I'm still not sure if this is meant to be a celebration or a mourning. I'd advise being a bit less ambiguous in the future.

Hmm. Conflicted.

On the one hand, it's a formidable enemy effectively retreating but on the other New Eden is lesser for it. Many notables of New Eden has vanished over the years and the Cardinal was hardly low on the list before or after. I wouldn't be there if I was welcome, but I would appreciate it if someone raised a glass in his name for me. If for nothing else, he did earn a measure of respect for his unflinching loyalty to his cause which is a very rare thing in New Eden.

In all candor, no one knows. However, his friends wish to Honor and remember him regardless of where his new path has led him. This is event for more for those left behind, who remember and miss him, then the man himself who is not there.
