Ok, so i was watching the Avengers Age of ultron(i know im late and all) But, near the end of the movie, the rescue ships that came out of the Helicarrier, looked an Awful lot like a Mackinaw or a Retriever. Here is a picture:
Rescue Ship From Avengers
As well as a picture of a Mackinaw for comparison:
Mackinaw

And on top of those 2, The next Thor movie, Which is slated to come out in 2017, Happens to be Called, Thor: Ragnarok. And as im sure most of you know That in EVE there is a Titan by the name of Ragnarok. Here is a link to my source: http://marvelcinematicuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Thor:_Ragnarok

This may just be more of a coincidence, but to go with the current similarities, Both EVE online, and a fair bit of the Marvel cinimatic universe take place in Space.

I don't know if CCP has a deal with Marvel, or if some of Marvels Designers happen to play EVE, but either way. they similarities are striking, And Very hard to deny.

"The deal", is that CCP uses mythology as a naming backdrop and thor is a mythological figure as is the name ragnorak, look it up.

For added enlightenment look up ship names and find out just how many ships have mythologically based names.

Ill start you off CHARON (look it up. btw, you will need to look up two different branches of mythology if you want the whole story about CHARON, she has two names one from each branch of mythology).

If she has more names someone correct my error.

Yawn,  I'm right as usual. The predictability kinda gets boring really.

Doubt it.

That's like saying some single seat twin engine fighter jets looks the same, so they must be built by the same manufacturer. So McDonald Douglas (Boeing, by now) must have done some shady **** under the table with Sukhoi, since the Hornets and Flankers look alike. Mikoyan would like to have a word, by the way. They want in too.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."

I would guess the inspiration for the craft in Avengers to be the Higgins Boat. Or those tour boats.

And yeah, Norse Mythology isn't owned by anyone. But EVE is actually made in a Nordic country, so, I give CCP a banana sticker.

Uhm... Lol. Well, in case no one else pointed this out yet: Ragnarok, otherwise called the Twilight of the Gods, is part of the same Norse Mythology that produced Thor in the first place. In other words, THOR is the original, EVE is the copycat. (And incidentally, the comic THOR too goes back WAY before EVE happened to come along.)

Thor, the Norse god of Thunder and Lightning we named Thursday (swedish, norvegian and danish language: torsdag) after!
In Germany it's called Donnerstag and it literally translates into Thundersday.

Thor goes way back before that ****** comic, so I suppose nobody else is allowed to use that name anymore.

Ragnarok, by the way is that time, when the Naglfar sets sail, with Loki at the helm who will meet up with Fenrir and Hel to bring upon the end of the world.

How many Eve ship names can you put into a non-eve related, sensible sentence?

These are all names known throughout hundreds of years. There is no coincidence here.
