Some additional info from me:
The log below is from my existing Character on EVE-Skillplan.net, the Skill Queue is accessed and the response should be fine. But the queue is not updated on the website. The money in my wallet is not updated as well. It seems that any API information read from the server is currently not stored in the database and thus not updated.

I've just added an API key (predefined, mask 59113480) yesterday, about 24 hours ago.
The notification says 'The current average time needed for API updates is 6m, 2s for a total of 2,320 API keys.'
It said the same yesterday except it was 2317 keys in the queue.
It looks like your sedulous drones working hard in an infinite loop. Maybe they are struggling with a fake or faulty key or so.

Quick update: I've just added an other char to the queue. The queue changing accordingly even on delete and re-add.
Quick update 2: The second char shows on the char list already (old, paid one) the first one (trial) still stuck somewhere in the void.
Quick update 3: It might not be a fault. My old char, the only one shows on your site has about 3 weeks old data loaded.

Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you know that I already fixed several API issues today and yesterday (also thanks to Dragonaire from Yapeal) so the SkillQueue should update way sooner now.

@Isinfier: Please check your character and if you are still encountering issues, do not hesitate to post here, thanks!

Some characters may still not show up as CCP changed large parts of their XML and some of it is not yet adjusted in the API library but I am looking foward to getting this fixed with Dragonaire within the next couple of days.

Hi there,

the issue with existing characters not updating seems to be fixed partially, the skill queue is correct (which is the most important stuff) but wallet balance is incorrect. It shows an amount that was there days ago, current balance is higher than that.

To test the issue with new characters not added I just created a brand new key and added it to my account. We'll see if it updates correctly. The old key (for the same account) that was stored in my account did not fetch the character, so I removed it and created the new one.

I will report back when I got home, the key will be in the system over an hour by then and should be updated (if possible). Stay tuned for edits on this post (or new replies, but I don't like double posting).

If you want to check your own logs for issues, I will post the key IDs here (they are worth nothing without the vKey anyway):

  • 4526494 - Character loaded, skill queue ok, wallet balance outdated (single character key)
  • 4543418 - New key just added as mentioned above, should load the character I am posting with (Isinfier, single character key)

EDIT:
Alright, key with ID 4543418 is two hours in your system but my character still does not show up. I checked the key with EVEMon, it works flawlessly there.

I am a new user and want to optimize my current training queue. Is there a way to add the skills in my current queue to a new skill plan without importing / exporting all my skills to EVEMon first?

Right now there is no way to import your skill queue to a skill plan, sorry.

Hi,

I found another small glitch today. When viewing one of my skill plans I found that sometimes (sadly I cannot reproduce the behavior by now) the skill requirements do not work properly. I had the following in my plan:

* Capital Ships I
* Capital Ships II
* Capital Ships III
* Capital Ships IV
* Advanced Spaceship Command I
* Advanced Spaceship Command II
* Advanced Spaceship Command III
* Advanced Spaceship Command IV
* Advanced Spaceship Command V

which cannot be correct since Capital Ships required ASC at 5 to be skilled. After I manually corrected the order I am unable to reproduce this ordering so it seems that while dragging skills the requirements check works properly.

As far as I can remember I just created that plan by adding skills using the pop-up dialog. Maybe something went wrong there when adding Capital Ships to the plan and as a result the requirement was placed AFTER the skill instead of in front of it?

got the same error..
reproduceable..

take a new skill you don't have with more than 1 Pre-requirement.. the pre-requirements get the wrong sort.

e.x. want to train Caldari Battlecruiser III and you have no skill in Caldari at all.. the skillqueue will look like this..

* Caldari Cruiser I
* Caldari Cruiser II
* Caldari Cruiser III
* Caldari Destroyer I
* Caldari Destroyer II
* Caldari Destroyer III
* Caldari Frigate I
* Caldari Frigate II
* Caldari Frigate III
* Caldari Battlecruiser I
* Caldari Battlecruiser II
* Caldari Battlecruiser III


2. New "empty" char:
will it be possible, in one of the next patches, to get a new char with the 400k SP-Set according the Race i choose?

Just a heads up: I am (as always...) dorwning in RL work but I will take a look at current issues about API keys not being fetched properly next week or the week after latest.

That being said, I think there needs to be more explanation in the FAQ about the process of how your character gets added. I found this site last night and entered an API key but my character has yet to show up in the application. I'm trying to be a web developer in real life, so I know what it means to be drowning in work.

Arrow Added all new Command Destroyers to the ship progress area

I realized I did not took the time to come here and write a thing.
I want to say a big Thank you !
I really like what you've done. It's very easy to use, yet powerful. I can now manage my skillplans from home and work without having to bring exports on USB key.


I have a feature request, a really simple one that should took less than a hour if I understood your environment well (I'm a web dev too, done some basic stuff on BS3.).
Feature : a search field while adding skills in skillplan (in the popin list) to find the skill that you don't know the location.

I don't know the tree organisation of some skills, and sometimes I had to open several categories to find the one I wanted to add, or worse, open another eve tool to find where this skill is hidden.

Well I didn't use yet your type of accordion so maybe it's more complicated that I thought, but still, I think that would not be a lot of trouble. If you have this project on git or svn, I'd be glad to see what I can do.

So I used some spare time today to build a new major update, mainly to finally get rid of the problems resulting in characters not showing up or information not getting updated for hours/days...

Update 1.5:
Arrow Finally fixed issues with characters not showing up on the platform after several hours
Arrow Inactive API keys will now display a "Deactivation Reason" when they get deactivated
Arrow Only API keys that got deactivated due to inactivity will get reactivated upon the next login, other inactive keys (expired ones for example) will have to be readded manually
Arrow Added an option to search for skills by text input using the skill browser

Is it me or are not all skills listed in the skills planner? I tried to add 'Scout Drone Operation' and its not in the list?
